At the end of the class, students will be able to gain
knowledge regarding formulation of philosophy and
objectives,and clarify or redefine their guiding principles
and objectives.
Specific Objectives :-
1. To understand the significance of a clearly defined
philosophy and objectives.
2. To learn methods for developing a personal or
organizational philosophy.
3. To explore strategies for setting realistic and achievable
objectives.
4. To provide hands-on experience in crafting and aligning
philosophies and objectives.
Introduction:-
Definitions of philosophy
“Philosophies of Nursing are statements of beliefs
and expressions of values in nursing that are used as
bases for thinking and acting – guide practice.”
Definition of objectives
The intentions of any course are determined to a large
extent by the form in which the Aims and Objectives are
stated. Where as the aims are general statements broadly
indicating the intention of the course, the objectives are
specific statements of what the learner is supposed to do as a
result of a course of study.
