Floyd Tangier Smith and his pandas

Floyd Tangier Smith was known as the Gentle Hunter. He decided to bring a panda to Europe
alive. Pandas live in bamboo forests in China and they are difficult to catch. His secret was
SUGAR! Tangier Smith’s assistant, Lin, used sugar lumps to bring them pandas out of the
forest and in three days, five pandas were caught. Then a baby panda walked out of the forest
into Tangier Smith’s arms. He had six pandas.
