EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this Certificate are as follows:

The NEXLED Luminaire comprises a cast aluminium flat rectangular base and a cover with a glass diffuser. The diffuser is attached to the cover with two
screw clips and the cover is attached to the base with four screws. Ingress protection is provided with a silicone rubber gasket between the base and the
diffuser.

The internal arrangement comprises up to eight 1W light emitting diodes mounted onto an aluminium heatsink, an encapsulated electronic control module
and terminal strips. An emergency version is available with a NiCd rechargeable battery pack. The control gear monitors the temperature of the
batteries and reduces the charge to safe levels if the temperature drops below 5°C. A heater may be wrapped round the battery pack in which
case the control gear turns on the heater if the temperature drops below 5°C.

The luminaire is rated 110 to 254V ac or dc, 50/60/0 Hz, 2W to 8W depending upon the number of LED’s fitted.

The enclosure is provided with cable entry holes which must be fitted with Ex e approved cable glands which maintain the ingress protection of the
enclosure
