1.Product Introduction
Empery solar ( RoofHook ) solar racking system is an all aluminum alloy
solar racking based on RoofHook, which is suitable for large-scale
commercial roof installation and civil roof installation.
RoofHook has been developed into a racking system to adapt to various roof
solar panels. The pre installation features of RoofHook component save
users' installation time and cost.

Before install the RoofHook system, please read the whole manual carefully.
This manual provides the planning and installation instructions of the
RoofHook system.

Follow the installation instructions of solar racking system strictly, which will
meet the structural requirements of products and relevant standards. During
the installation, we must abide by the relevant safety regulations and pay
attention to the implementation of the relevant provisions of the region.
Please contact Empery solar or your local agent by email to check whether
the installation manual you are using is the latest version.

The installation personnel shall comply with the following specifications:

· Comply with all applicable local or national building codes including any that
may replace this manual；
· Ensure that the products such as Empery solar bracket are suitable for
specific installation and installation environment；
· Please use the accessories provided by Empery solar and the installation
tools you carry. (if other accessories are used to replace the construction of
Empery solar accessories, our company will not bear any responsibility for
this.)；
· How to recycle: according to local regulations；

■4.4 Rail Installation
◎Connection Rail
Before installing the rail,check the length.If the length is not enough,it
is connected with a guide rail conector.

Insert the rail connector into one rail,adjust the position and then use
two hexagonal bolts M8*20（one for each of the two layers of the
W-rail）to flx and lock it.The same way to connect the other rail
hexagonal bolt M8*20。

■4.5 Installing the solar panels
◎Installing the first panel
When installing the first panel of the array (first column/topmost), refer to
the design drawings to adjust the panel fixing position and use the mid
clamps and end clamps in the panel to fix the panel to the rail.

◎In the same way, fix the remaining panels in the first row with the mid
clamps and end clamps. When installing the second row of solar panels, leave
a gap of 17mm between the panels and repeat the above steps to install the
batteries.

◎Continue the above steps to install the entire row of remaining panels.

※Note: Recommended panel installation sequence: from top to bottom,

■4.6 Install Grounding System
◎Grounding Clip
When install grounding clip, let the hex bolt pass through the mid clamp and
D nut holes, fix tight and then fix onto the rail, and put the panel to lock tight with
bolt and clamp.

◎Grounding Lug
Once the panel fix finish, as like right chart shown, fix the grounding lug on
the end of rail, add the copper wire to connect the grounding lug, bury the
end of the copper wire into ground finally.

5.Cautions
■5.1 Fasteners Install Note
Because of its good ductility, stainless steel is essentially different from carbon
steel; improper use will result in bolts and nuts can't be turned off. Prevention
of this situation is mainly in the following aspects:

a. Reduction of friction coefficient:

①Make sure the thread surface is clean, no ash, dirt, etc.
②It is recommended to use wax or lubricant, such as butter and 40# engine
oil, on the surface of bolts when installing.

b. Correct operation：
①When screwing, it must be perpendicular to the axis of the thread. Do not
tilt.
②In the tightening process, the force must be uniform, and the tightening
torque should not exceed the specified safety torque value.
③Use torque wrench or socket wrench as far as possible, avoid using
movable wrench or electric wrench. If you need to use electric wrench, you
should try to reduce the speed.
④Avoid high-temperature use, do not use fast rotation, avoid rapid
temperature rise and lead to lock.

c. Safety torque:
Refer to this install manual to finish safe torque operation of each fastener.
When the fasteners are stainless steel material, should be paid special
attention to the above install cautions.
In case of biting during installation, other tools can be used to forcibly
loosen or cut off the bolts, but it needs to pay attention to protect the solar
racking system and do not damage the oxide layer on the surface of the
aluminum alloy.

purchase the racking system originally made by XiaMen Empery Solar Technology
Co.,LTD . The surface of the bracket is oxidized, the company promises that the
oxide layer on the surface will not fall off or crack within 5 years from the date of
purchase.And the Empery solar racking system, Empery solar will provide you
with a 15-year quality guarantee from the date of delivery goods.

The installation environment with artificial damage and corrosion to the racking is
not included in the after-sales service of Empery solar.Please refer to the
cleaning, maintenance and installation practice of building aluminum profiles
carefully when you purchase Empery solar products- AAMA 609 & 610-02，please
check to www.aamanet.org.We solemnly promise you in the transportation,
storage, installation process of non-human damage, we will provide you with
service guarantee.

If the operation steps in the manual are not followed during the construction, the
appearance of the support is changed, reworked and repaired without
authorization of Emeper solar, or the support is damaged during the installation
process due to the design error of the customer. Emeper solar is not responsible
for this.

For PV, rail shields and other related products involved in the construction
process, please ask your supplier to issue a warranty statement. Our company is
only responsible for the support system.

This inverter is wall-mounted, i.e. the mounting method
is hanging on the wall, and there are two round holes
for fixed mounting on the top of the product for
installation. According to the site conditions, it can be
mounted in the following three ways:

Expansion screws:
440 If the inverter is installed on the wall is concrete,
please use expansion screws to fix it, use the
380 expansion screws with specification M8, the length of
the screws is not less than 80mm

If the inverter is installed on the wall is a wooden
structure, please use wood screws to fix it, use the
expansion screws with specification M8, the length of
the screws is not less than 100mm

Attention:
When wiring, please pay attention to the state of the
switch, it should be in the closed new state, and then
close the switch after all the installation is completed.
