KOREA TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENTS - individual

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Duly accomplished with black ink signed application form (Must be printed in A4 sized bond
paper & typewritten)
2. 1 passport sized, studio taken, colored picture (3.5cm x 4.5cm) recent photo with white
background to be glued & not stapled on the application form.
3. Original Passport with wet signature
● must be more than 6 months valid from travel completion
● For 12 years old and below, leave the signature blank.
4. Old Passport if with travel history for the past 5 years.
5. Copy of Passport Bio Page.
6. Original & copy of valid visa and arrival stamps to any OECD member countries for the past 5
years.
7. Original Personal Bank Certificate
● Must include the ff. details:
● Account Type
● Current Balance
● Account Opening Date
● 6 months Average Daily Balance (ADB)
8. 3 months bank statement or certified true copy of passbook for the past 3 months.
9. Data Privacy Consent Form

NOTE: Original PSA Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate if travelling with family members as
proof of relationship. NSO issued documents are not accepted by the Embassy.

IF PERSONALLY INVITED BY KOREAN:


1. Invitation Letter (Korean Language)
2. Inviter’s copy of passport

IF INVITED BY COMPANY IN KOREA:


1. Invitation Letter (Korean Language) MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
● Inviter’s Name, Invitee’s Name
● Inviter’s Telephone/Mobile No.
● Period of Stay (Date of Entry and Exit)
● Purpose (detailed),
● Issued Date
● Contact Person and Two Contact Number
● Signature and Stamp of Inviter
2. Korean Company Business Permit

Additional requirements as per category:

FOR EMPLOYEES:
1. Original Employment Certificate with wet signature otherwise stated as system generated.
(Issued within 3 months upon the date of application)
Must include the ff. details:
● Applicant’s Position
● Date Hired
● Compensation
● Office Address
● Office Landline Number or Cellphone Number
● Office Email Address
2. Copy of Income Tax Return (ITR 2316)
3. Copy of PRC / IBP ID (If applicable)
4. Copy of Company ID (If any)

FOR BUSINESSMEN (SELF EMPLOYED):


1. Copy of valid Business Registration from DTI or SEC
2. Copy of valid Mayor’s Permit or Business Permit
3. Copy of Certificate of Registration (If any)
4. Copy of ITR 1702-RT or ITR 1701
5. Copy of PRC / IBP ID (If applicable)

FOR RETIREES:
1. Copy of Senior Citizen ID
2. Copy of Retirement Certificate (if any)

FOR STUDENTS:
1. Original School Certificate
(Issued within 3 months upon the date of application)
2. Copy of School ID
3. Original PSA Birth Certificate
4. Parents’ Documents
If Employed:
● Original Certificate of Employment
● Original Personal Bank Certificate
● 3 months bank statement OR certified true copy of passbook for the past 3 months.
● Photocopy of ITR 2316
If Businessman (Self Employed):
● Copy of valid Business Registration from DTI or SEC
● Copy of valid Mayor’s Permit or Business Permit
● Copy of Certificate of Registration (If any)
● Copy of ITR 1702-RT or ITR 1701

IF THE COMPANY WILL SHOULDER THE TRIP:


1. Notarized Guarantee letter from the company
2. Original Company Bank Certificate with 3 months bank statement
3. Copy of business documents such as:
● DTI or SEC
● Mayor’s Permit or Business Permit
4. Copy of ITR 1701 or 1702 – RT
