A. Executive Summary
TNCService is a web application developed using Microsoft technologies .NET Core and SQL
database. It is designed to streamline scheduling for Windows servicing by assigning work orders to
technicians. The application also manages creation as well as tracking of invoices and purchase orders.
This project aims to enhance operational efficiency and transparency in service scheduling and
management for the company.
B. Business Objectives
1. Business Need/Opportunity/Objectives
The business recognizes a need to streamline and optimize the scheduling of Windows servicing tasks.
This includes efficiently assigning work orders to technicians based on service requirements. This
should be done in a way to reduce response times and improve customer satisfaction. The objective is
to centralize scheduling and management processes to enhance operational efficiency and service
delivery.
- Creation and assignment of work orders. Each work order has detailed service descriptions and
scheduling dates.
- Management of invoices and purchase orders along with some other documents within the
system for seamless financial tracking.
- Integration with a SQL database to ensure data consistency and reliability.

- Third-party integrations beyond initial scope, for example (external ERP systems).
