3. Introduction
Physical education plays a vital role in the holistic development of students. It goes beyond
physical training to promote emotional well-being, social interaction, and mental discipline.
The CBSE Physical Education curriculum focuses on three major areas: Physical Fitness Test
(BPFT), Proficiency in Games (Football), and Yogic Practices.

This project is an in-depth compilation of my learnings, observations, and performance


based on these components. It highlights the importance of fitness assessments, the skills
involved in football, and the relevance of yoga in promoting mental and physical harmony.
4. Physical Fitness Test (BPFT) – Overview

What is BPFT?
The Basic Physical Fitness Test (BPFT) is a set of standardized tests designed to assess
various components of physical fitness in individuals, particularly students. It helps identify
strength, endurance, flexibility, and body composition.
