PART I: SOCIAL INTERACTION (~ 3 mins) (tương tác XH) (
Let’s talk about sports. – I am going to talk about sports. (we must say that sports play an important part in
our life. More and more people are becoming interested in playing sports. I really like sports. )
- Do you prefer indoor or outdoor sports? Why? – I prefer playing outdoor sports because it is
interesting and useful. (I can breathe fresh air, make friends with many people, and improve my
health. It is the best way to keep fit and prevent diseases/ health problems. )
- Which sports do you like best? Why? – I like soccer/football best because it is popular/
interesting. (It is considered as the king of sports. I often play soccer with my friends after work or at
the weekend. We play at a stadium near my house. It is relaxing and good for my health)
- Do you know why people like to play sports? – People like to play sports because they can
relax, reduce stress after work and improve their health.
Now, let’s talk about fast food. – Now I am going to talk about fast food.
- What kind of fast food do you like best? – I like pizzas best because it is very delicious. (I
love fast food because it is so delicious that I can eat it every day).
- Is fast food good for your health? Why?/ Why not? – Fast food is not good for my health
because it contains/has a lot of sugar and fat (that can cause many diseases like obesity, diabetes, or
even cancer)
- In your opinion, why is fast food popular? – In my opinion, fast food is popular because it is
delicious and convenient. (They can buy fast food anywhere at any time. They do not have to do
some shopping, prepare the meals, or do the washing – up after the meals. Therefore, they can save a
lot of time to do other things. This is ideal for working people or busy ones because they are too busy
with work)

PART II: SOLUTION DISCUSSION (~4 mins) (1’ – 3’) – (2’ – 2’)

Situation: Your friend is going on a long journey by train on his own. Which do you think is the best
way to pass time on a long journey? There are THREE options for you to choose:

- Talking to other people

- Reading books
- Sleeping

- I am going to talk about the situation. (đọc lại đề)


- In my opinion, the second option (reading books) is the best choice
- Because it is interesting and useful. He can relax, reduce stress and improve his knowledge.
- The first option (talking to other people) and the last one (sleeping) are not suitable for him .
Talking to other people can make noise.
- To sum up, the second option (reading books) is the most suitable for him on a long journey by
train.

- In my opinion, the last option (sleeping) is the best choice
- There are some reasons why I choose this option. First, sleeping is the best way to pass time on a
long journey. Second, sleeping is beneficial for his health. It helps him refresh, relax, reduce stress and get
rid of sickness/ being sick.
- The first option (talking to other people) and the second one (reading books) are not suitable.
Talking to other people can make noise and annoy surrounding people on the train. Some people may not
like talking with him. Reading books is interesting and useful, but it can cause sickness
- To sum up, the last option (sleeping) is the most suitable for him on a long journey by train

PART III: TOPIC DEVELOPMENT (~ 5 min) (1’ – 4’) (2’ – 3’)

- I am going to talk about the topic. There are some ways to stay healthy
- Firstly, it is having good diets
- Secondly, it is doing exercise
- Finally, it is relaxing and being happy
- In my opinion, sleeping and avoiding bad habits like smoking, drinking or staying up late
are also important to stay healthy

I am going to answer the questions

I think people today care about their health more than they did in the past because they have
money

I think happy people are healthier than angry or stressed people

Running, jogging or skipping rope are good for health
