The Third Term English Test
In our city, we have many charitable associations that are organized in order to help the
poor people. I have decided to join one of them since it is an act of humanity. I want to change
people’s lives by showing them love and affection.
Our work is based on preparing various events related to any occasion. Its primary
objective is helping the needy people through collecting donations (money, food, clothes,...). It
also performs many activities like visiting hospitalized children, collecting blankets and warm
clothes for homeless people, organizing tables of Iftar in Ramadan, cleaning mosques,
cemeteries and planting trees.
All in all, the role of charitable organizations has become more necessary than ever. Thus,
all the members of our community, from the youngest to the eldest have to cooperate to help
poor people. I think that people should give more donations to these charities to enable them
