EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Campus Cryp�c Quest is an immersive treasure hunt challenging par�cipants
to navigate the college campus, solving a series of clues and puzzles. Teams
will use physical explora�on, digital tools, and problem-solving skills to
progress through the hunt, incorpora�ng QR codes, riddles, photo challenges,
and trivia ques�ons related to campus history and academic subjects.

STEPS:
1. Registra�on and team forma�on (30 minutes)
2. Briefing and distribu�on of star�ng materials (15 minutes)
3. Main hunt with 8-10 clue sta�ons (2.5 hours)
4. Final challenge at central loca�on (30 minutes)
5. Award ceremony and feedback collec�on (15 minutes)

EVALUATION CRITERIA & SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS:


• Open to all students with a cap of 20 teams (80-100 par�cipants)
• No pre-screening; registra�on on a first-come, first-served basis
• Evalua�on based on:
1. Time taken to complete all challenges (50%)
2. Accuracy in solving clues and puzzles (30%)
3. Crea�vity in photo challenges and checkpoint tasks (10%)
4. Team spirit and adherence to rules (10%)
• Judges will include the event team and the faculty member at the final
checkpoint
• Real-�me leaderboard updated through the mobile app
• Penal�es for rule viola�ons or incorrect solu�ons
• Tiebreaker: In case of a �e, the team with the highest score in the final
challenge wins
This event is designed to engage students in a unique, challenging experience
that combines technology, physical ac�vity, and mental agility. It promotes
teamwork, enhances campus knowledge, and creates las�ng memories for
par�cipants.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Our team has collec�vely organized 3 smaller-scale scavenger hunts for
individual departments. This event scales up our experience to a campus-
wide level.

Our team combines technical exper�se in QR code implementa�on, crea�ve
puzzle design, and strong organiza�onal skills. We have a deep understanding
of the campus layout and history, essen�al for cra�ing an engaging and
educa�onal hunt.
