Sjs Manavai Future Focus January 2024-25
Education is more than imparting knowledge. It is about building character and empowering
each individual to be an enthusiastic lifelong learner and a global citizen of the future. A child’s
early years are his basic foundation in shaping character, inculcating moral values and preparing
pupils for a life of leadership, selfless service, and personal fulfilment.
With this objective, we at SJS, provide student-oriented education that allows young adults
continuously discover their potential in an ever-changing world. As many of our parents are
aware, we have succeeded in combining academic excellence with a broad range of
opportunities beyond the classroom. At SJS School, we are committed to the pursuit of
excellence in education and all that we endeavour.
Is it not important that we learn to help the poor, care for the diseased, protect the weak, respect
women and stand firmly against any form of injustice to humanity without fear? Humanity
should be taught to a child from a very early age. This process should start from home where
children should be told stories about great emperors and warriors who succeeded because of
their ability to spread love and kindness. We are here to make them understand.
We, the SJS Family, believe that it is important to have a happy environment which is conducive
to effective learning. We strive to provide an education that meets the needs of all students. It
becomes important for us to provide varied opportunities to children. So, they may be able to
discover their talents and develop their skills.
We aim at transforming students into spiritually God-fearing, academically all-encompassing,
morally upright, socially well integrated and virtually successful scholars by generously sharing
our time, talent, and treasure for their well-being.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” —Nelson
Mandela
With best wishes for a successful and fulfilling year ahead.
I laud you dear students for being the finest examples of how the school is fulfilling its mission
by building futures through learning and holistic development. Your brilliance in curricular and
extra-curricular activities coupled with your intrinsic values validates your contribution to
make our world a better place. Do remember you cannot get through a single day without
having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to
decide what kind of difference you want to make. Be a leader and give humanity a whisper of
hope.
I take this opportunity to commend the great achievers of Classes X and XII for sparing no effort
in proving their mettle in the Revision and Pre-Board Exams. I wish them all the very best for
the upcoming Board exams too!
Succeeding in life is simple, dear children. All you have to do is pay attention, work hard and be
true to yourself. Always remember that there is no substitute for hard work and you become
stronger when you know your weakness, you are wise when you learn from your mistakes and
you are invincible when you accept your flaws.
Always strive for progress not perfection and when you do that nothing can come between you
and your success. If you want a different tomorrow, work harder than yesterday. Be honest
always, because honesty prospers in every condition of life.
Believe in yourself, push your limits, conquer your weaknesses and achieve your goals. If you
feel defeated at some point of time, never ever quit.
Together let us, dream more, inspire more and create more.
I wish you the very best for the forthcoming examinations.
Be happy. Stay blessed.
