This email contains everything you need to activate your new eSIM.

Please
follow the instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE ACTIVATING

An internet connection is required for activation. We recommend

activating before you arrive at your destination.

Your data plan will start on 2025-05-07 (UTC). You can install the

eSIM on your device any time.

iPhone: Do NOT choose "Transfer your phone number" or any option

related to your phone number. If unsure, please see our eSIM Quick

Start Guide.

1. SCAN QR CODE USING YOUR DEVICE


iPhone: Tap and hold the QR code, and select Add eSIM.

Android: Open the Camera app on your device, and focus the QR code.

You will see a prompt to add a new data plan. Follow the directions on your
device to add the eSIM as a new data plan.

If you cannot scan the QR code, or prefer to activate using a manual code,
please log in to your Maya Mobile Account and click Install near your
eSIM to find the Manual Activation Code.

2. ENABLE DATA ROAMING

Navigate to your device's Settings

Go to Cellular (also called Mobile & Network on Android)

Locate your new eSIM data plan


Make sure that the option for Data Roaming is ON

3. ANDROID ONLY - CONFIGURE APN

Data plans on Android require a manual setting to know where to connect


to. Follow the steps below on your device:

Navigate to your device's Settings

Go to Mobile & Network

Tap your new eSIM plan, then go to Access Point Names

Tap Menu, then tap New APN

In the first field called APN, enter "globaldata" without quotes. If there

is anything filled in username or password, delete it. Only the APN

name is required.

Return to the previous screen and select the new APN.

Restart the device to initialize a connection to the network.

After restarting your device, please wait up to 15 minutes for 4G/LTE data
to start working.

Please note! Your eSIM will only receive data in Brazil. Once you have
enabled Data Roaming for the eSIM, it will activate automatically when you
arrive.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Turn on Low Data Mode (iPhone) or Data Saver mode (Android) to
prevent background data consumption while using your eSIM.

iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Plan. (It may be called
Mobile Service > Mobile Data Plan.) Select the eSIM here when you arrive
in your destination.

Android: Set the eSIM as your Mobile Data SIM when you arrive in your
destination.
