Listen bitches I am WAY too drunk right now to give you a cohesive review so lemme
just say that this movie is 5 stars if anything was ever 5 stars and I could watch it a
million times and never get tired of it. One of the only decent memories I have of my
father is watching this movie and it was so unbelievably scary when I was that young,
but that’s also why I loved it even then.
My favorite segment changes every so often, but right now it’s a toss-up between
Father’s Day and The Crate because DUH. If you haven’t seen this then I’m
embarrassed for you true story because it is the template to which all anthology horror
films should follow, k?

A self-fulfilling comic-book horror show, obsessed with its own outrageous versions of
one truthful theme: everyone can and will be fucked over, regardless if they deserve it
or not. Some variations are more entertaining, or more gruesome, than others, but
Creepshow's singular flow is rooted in the embrace of the form that it's adapting and
the translation of its particularities. The restoration from Scream Factory is excellent.

My mother used to read the Creepshow comic to me as a bedtime story when I was a
child and I do think it had made me the way I am today. I watched this on my
Playstation 2 just how God intended it to be viewed.

Es una película divertida, que mezcla humor negro y terror en una serie de historias
muy bien trabajadas. Hay algunas historias mucho mejores que otras (la primera
quizás sobra por completo), y realmente no hay ningún plot twist que sorprenda pues
el final de cada historia o sus respectivos giros argumentales se ven venir a kilómetros.
Quizás debería retractarme en calificarla de "terror", pues casi que es más gore con
pinceladas.
Dicho lo cual, es entretenida y cumple con creces lo que se promete.

The birth child of two horror masters, and I just wish it leaned into that more. Don’t get
me wrong, the vibes here are amazing, comic book editing and all, but I think if it had
been a bit darker, going a bit further, and cut one or two stories, it would have been
elite. Still really like this, and I’m sure I’ll love it on rewatch sometime. Poster is
incredible.
