BAC RESOLUTION DECLARING SAVANNAH’S CONSUMER GOODS TRADING


AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL

RESOLUTION NO. Q2 001 s. 2025

WHEREAS, the Procurement Service (PS) is tasked with centralized procurement of


commonly good used Goods for the procurement in accordance with the Letter of Instructions
(LO1) No. 755, series of 1987, and Executive Order No. 359, series 1989;

WHEREAS, the needed office supplies, Semi Expendable equipment and other supplies
are not available in the Procurement Service (PS) Depot Palawan;

WHEREAS, considering the urgent need of the Procuring Entities for the requested
items, the Bids and Awards Committee recommend procuring the requested items from other
sources due to the following reasons:

a. The requested items are not available from the PS Depot Palawan and
b. The requested items are badly needed for the school operations and delivery of
learning.

WHEREAS, only Savannah’s Consumer goods Trading, Leony’s ApplianceS


Trading & Jhun-Belle Office Supplies & Equipment Trading, submit the request for
quotation and the eligibility requirements;

WHEREAS, upon careful review and evaluation of the Bids and Awards Committee, it
was determined that Leony’s Appliances Trading was the Lowest Cost supplier for the office
supplies, Semi Expendable Equipment and Other supplies as listed in the RFQ.

NOW, THEREFORE, WE, the members of the Tulbuan Elementary School BIDS
AND AWARDS COMMITTEE, by the virtue of the powers vested on US by the law, hereby
RESOLVE, as it is hereby RESOLVED:

a. To declare Leony’s Appliances Trading as the bidder with the Lowest Calculated
and Responsive Bid in the amount of lot 1-Office Supplies Thirty Three thousand one
hundred forty pesos (Php 33, 140. 00), Lot 2- Semi Expendable Equipment
amounting to thirty eight thousand four hundred ninety nine pesos (Php 38,499.00)
and lot 4 –Other supplies -amounting to Three thousand eighty eight pesos
(Php3,088.00) with a TOTAL of Seventy four thousand seven hundred twenty seven
pesos (Php 74, 727.00).

b. To recommend for approval by the Head of Procuring Entity (HoPE) of the above-
mentioned school.

This Resolution shall take effect immediately.

APPROVED, this ___ day of May 2025 at Tulbuan Elementary School, Coron,
Palawan.
