This source is very useful because of it shows how Flood feels when he reads his letter and exactly what he wants to change in the major league baseball.

Flood and Carters book was a very helpful source in our website It gave us a first person point of view for things that happened in Curts life. Flood and Carter also told us how Flood had felt about the trade and what he was thinking about when he decided to sue baseball.

Hill and Spellman recognize the effect of the reserve clause on the salary of baseball players and the change the new reserve system brought to salary. Their perspective at the time helps complete the understanding of the changes and improvement created by the new compensation structure in baseball.

Ward and Burns have clearly explained Curt Flood's case from the beginning to end and the impacts and influence from thus. Ward and Burns have written in chronological order to order the events properly to allow a clear understanding of the order in which things had occurred. Ward and Burns have also provided many quotes from the court case and those were involved to further deepen the understanding of the case.

This source helped our group by giving specifics towards the positive and negative thoughts about free agency at the time.

The law review also explains baseballs reserve clause and the problems associated with it.

Curt Flood is interviewed in this clip, and gave many important quotes about how his thoughts toward the reserve clause.

Brady gives a large amount of detailed information on Curt Flood and gives a biography of his life. Brady also gives the reasons why Curt Flood wanted to try and take the reserve clause down. Brady mentions the time period and trade that sparked the entire suit. This website was very helpful because it gave background information and helped us learn about the time period and the trade that started the suit.
