A GUIDE TO PROJECT PRESENTATION
Projects, new innovations and inventions are essential parts of a modern-
day technology company because that's what allows them to be successful in the
long run and sustainable. The first step of embarking on a project is making
research (asking the right questions) about the scope or idea to be explored. IT
projects are not excluded from this. And that is the reason students should do a
proper background check of the project they are working on, to convince the
instructors, audience and the institution that they deserve the certification.
NOTE: It’s not very important who came up with the idea first, what’s important
is were you able to do something different using an existing idea. We should
appreciate who came up with a revolutionary idea first, but afterwards, it’s fair
game. Anybody with the courage and the ability has a chance of figuring out how
to improve what has been already built. So what happens when somebody comes
up with a better design? That’s why research is important, modern day technology
users are so sophisticated that tech companies are actually struggling to keep up
with the pace of technology development.
To achieve this, the write-up should be arranged in this format:
• Five (5) Chapters write up with a reference page.
• Font Type - Times New Roman
• Font Size - 14
• Spacing - Double line spacing
Preliminary Pages:
Title page: Project Title, Course Offered, Name of the Student, The name
of the Institute and date.
Certification Page: Carrying the Student, Project Instructor and Admin’s
signature with the date. (Any project that didn’t have this is not fit for
presentation, Implication: hard copies should be submitted at least a week
before the presentation)
Dedication / Acknowledgement and Abstract
Chapter One:
1.1. Introduction
1.2. Definition of terms (Frequent words)
1.3. Statement of the problem (The problem the project intends to solve)
1.4. Objectives
Chapter Two:
2.1. Previous Project Review
Chapter Three:
3.1. Tools Used (Project Tools) and Justification (Why the tools are used)
3.2. Project Process (pictorial display of work progress from the beginning
to end)
Chapter Four:
4.1. Project Limitations
4.2. Recommendations for the Next Research
4.3. Key Solution or benefits of the project
Chapter 5:
5.1. Project Exhibition and Testing
5.2. Questions and Answers
5.3. Conclusion

Note: More than just observing the project presentation because it’s a status quo,
supervisors and students should make sure projects add even if it is 1%
knowledge or benefits to the existing work done in that particular field.
