Joed:
To begin our program on a reflective and focused note, we’d like to invite everyone to join us in
a short prayer.
Hyugo:
Let us all pause and take a moment of silence for a prayer, led by Enoc Bocarile.
*******Prayer is said*******
Joed: Thank you. You may now be seated and may today be filled with insights and inspiration.
Joed:
Now that we’re all feeling welcomed, it’s time to get moving with a fun and interactive Ice
Breaker activity!
Hyugo:
We’ll be guiding you through this one, so get ready to laugh, think, and maybe even make a new
friend.
Joed:
That was refreshing! Great job, everyone!
Joed:
Good morning, everyone! Welcome to today’s Basic Leadership and Groupwork Seminar! I’m
Ralph Joed Gerente.
Hyugo
...and I’m Patrick Elemino, or you can call me Hyugo na lang,
Both:
and we’re thrilled to be your emcees for this insightful enriching event.
Hyugo:
And now, to formally open our seminar, let’s welcome our mayor Nathalie Nicole Villamor for
the Opening Remarks.
*******Opening Remarks*******
Joed:
Thank you for that warm and motivating message. It definitely sets the tone for what’s ahead.
Hyugo:
Let’s now get into the core part of our seminar.
Our first resource speaker is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology here at
Colegio de Montalban. Please welcome our first resource speaker, Mark Christian Luib who will
be sharing insights on Basic Leadership.
********Speaker begins********
Hyugo:
That was an insightful and enriching session on what Basic Leadership is all about wasn’t it,
Joed?
Joed: Indeed! Mr. Concepcion is truly a seasoned leader. His stories and practical tips really hit
home—especially when he said that "a leader is a good listener." That one stuck with me.
Hyugo: But it is not over yet because we have a second part of the seminar which tackles the
word Group Work.
Joed:
Great job, everyone!
Joed: To begin with the second part of our seminar, let’s have a quick background check of the
resource speaker for Group Work. He was a graduate of Information and Communications
Technology strand at College of Arts and Science of Asia and the Pacific. And now pursuing a
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology here at Colegio de Montalban.
Both: So, without further ado, we now call in-front our second resource speaker for today, Mr.
Dean Uzaih Concepcion!
********Speaker begins********
Joed:
Thank you so much Mr. Concepcion for that eye-opening session on Group Work. There’s
definitely more benefit in collaborating than just “working together” right, Hyugo?
Hyugo:
That’s right! It’s about trust, shared responsibility, and understanding each other’s strengths.
And I’m sure our participants have a lot of thoughts after that powerful talk.
Hyugo:
It is indeed very insightful for both of the sessions. To express our gratitude, we now proceed
with the Awarding of the Certificate to our resource speakers.
Joed:
Let’s call on Mr. Jefferson Dumayag and Ms. Nathalie Nicole Villamor to present the certificate
of appreciation.
Hyugo:
A big round of applause once again for our esteemed speakers!
Hyugo:
As we near the end of today’s seminar, we would like to invite Mr. Jefferson Dumayag for the
Closing Remarks.
Joed:
And with that, we officially conclude today’s seminar on Basic Leadership and Groupwork.
Thank you so much for being part of this learning experience.
Hyugo:
Remember, leadership is not a position—it's action, influence, and collaboration. Take what
you’ve learned today and make a difference!
Both:
Thank you and have a great day ahead
