2.1) A type of tourism involving travel to remote or exotic locations in order to
take part physically challenging outdoor activities

2.4) The Western Cape boasts a stunning and varied natural
landscape that is ideal for adventure tourism. From the rugged
coastline and dramatic cliffs to the lush forests and mountainous
terrain, the region offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Popular
adventure activities include hiking and mountain biking in the Cape
Winelands, rock climbing in Cederberg, and surfing along the
extensive beaches.

decreased a bit in 2015 and started decreasing from then. 2020 was the lowest
year. It increased a bit in 2021 to 2022.
3.4) Rhinos are an endangered species. Engaging in rhino poaching is not only
illegal but also devastatingly harmful to our planets biodiversity and the
delicate balance of ecosystems. Rhinos play a crucial role in their habitats,
helping to maintain the health and stability of various environments. Rhino
poaching also includes the decreasing there of the species., if there are less
rhinos for people from other countries to watch then there will be less money
coming in for example: if there are less rhinos then, people won’t come in from
other countries and paying to watch these animals, there won’t be people
coming into the hotels or restaurants during their stay therefore there will be
no income therefore employees won’t get paid and these places will shut
down.
3.5) Continued rhino poaching could have profound and multifaceted impacts
on the tourism industry, especially concerning the Big Five wildlife
attractions—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros. The ongoing
poaching of rhinos directly threatens their populations, which could
lead to their potential extinction in the wild
