DETAILS ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT:
1. It is the team championship. Each team shall consist of 4 players.
2. In a team not more than TWO (2) players should have Rapid Rating/ Standard
Rating. However, only ONE player can have Rating above 1600 (as on 02-07-2025)
3. If a player does not have Rapid Rating but has Standard Rating, then Standard
Rating shall be considered.
4. The team members’ position shall be declared by 12th July’2025. That means the
name of the players for Table-1, Table-2, Table-3 and Table-4 to be declared
beforehand. The Table numbers shall remain unchanged during the tournament.
5. Each Team should give a Name for their team. For example, if all the players are
from a school, then the name of the team may be the school’s name. Otherwise,
name of the academy, name of renowned chess players etc.
6. Number of Rounds - SIX (6) 7. Time Control– 20 mins each.
8. Entry fee per player is Rs 400. 9. Arbiter’s decision will be final.

Prizes:
CHAMPION TEAM : Rs 4400. RUNNER UP : Rs. 3200. THIRD TEAM : Rs 2400 - Members of Top Three
Teams will get individual Trophy.
FOURTH & FIFTH PLACE : 2000. SIXTH to TENTH PLACE : 1800.
Best THREE Players at each board will get Trophy – 12 TROPHIES (board prize).
