included. However, it is your own report and you have to structure it according to the
flow of overa
ll logic and organization. Each chapter, section, subsection, etc. should have a title.
Each chapter is numbered using Arabic numerals: 1, 2, 3, ... Sections within a chapter are
numbered using a twolevel scheme, (chapter no)(section no); forexample, sections in cha
pter 3 are numbered 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, ...
Subsections within a section are numbered using a threelevel scheme, (chapter no).(sectio
n no).(subsection no); for example, subsections in chapter 3, section 2 are
numbered 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3, ...

Text References
Due to its detoxification enzymes, such as hydrolases, transferases, and oxygenase’s, this insect pest
has acquired resistance to all classes of insecticides (Mohan and Gujar, 2003). The participation of
Glutathion-S-transferase, carboxylesterase, and microsomal monooxygenase in insecticide resistance
has been extensively documented (Brown and Brogdon, 1987; Devonshire and Field, 1991; Sun,
1992). Resistance develops through diverse biochemical mechanisms, including the alteration of the
target site of acetylcholinesterase in organophosphate and carbamates resistance (Liu et al., 1982;
Brogdon and McAllister, 1998; Ffrench-Constant et al., 2004; Fournier, 2005).
