Basic Types of Listening:

1. Intensive Listening:
Focused on perceiving specific language elements within larger linguistic stretches.
2. Responsive Listening:
Involves understanding short language stretches to generate an immediate response.
3. Selective Listening:
Requires processing longer discourse for specific information, ignoring general meaning.
4. Extensive Listening:
Aims at comprehending longer spoken segments for overall understanding, including
main ideas and inferences.
