(d) With evidence, mention two methods used to show relief features

4. A study tour was planned to 30 form four students, the subject teacher discovered that the
school bus could not accommodate all students, in order to avoid conflict among students he
decided to choose some representatives who could be accommodated by a school bus,
therefore he ordered students to count numbers from 1 to 30 then only 15 students who
counted even numbers were taken for the study tour.

(a) How do we call the 30 students?


(b) What is the name of the process used to select some representatives who could be
accommodated by the school bus?
(c) Basing on 4(b) above, what is the name of the type of the process whereby students were
ordered to count numbers so that only those who counted even numbers are taken for
study tour?

9. Foreign investors are very important for the economic development of Tanzania. As a form
four candidate suggest six (6) friendly factors which can be adopted by Tanzanian
government to encourage foreign investment.

10. Timber industries in Mufindi has benefited many people especially people living in Mafinga –
Town Council but its development is associated with several effects. As a form four student
identify and explain six (6) negative effects as result of development of Timber Industries in
Mufindi.
