EMERGENCIES TRAINING RECORD

CAA REF NUMBER

During emergency training, instructors must always make sure that the student understands both the
nature of the emergency being simulated and the extent to which the exercise will be practiced.
Airborne emergency simulation will only require that touch drills are carried out and should be based
on simple simulation. Therefore whenever an instructor introduces a simulated emergency, he/she
shall precede it with the word “Simulated” to ensure no confusion arises; for example “simulated
engine fire”.
