Skills Reflection and Exercise 02 – Personality Assessment

Question 01: Attach a screenshot of your assessment here with score for overall personality.

Question 02: Provide a brief review of the four areas of the survey/ assessment results from the

assessment tool. Also, share your level of agreement/ disagreement with result in each area.

Extraverted – I agree with the scoring, as my role in the company doesn’t require me to engage

extensively with others. The questions asked were very relevant and to the point with real day to

day examples,

Intuitive– I agree with this scoring as well. The questions asked were very relevant but I still feel

these small set of easy question does not mock real world scenerios.
Thinking – Regarding the scoring questions asked to assess this parameter, I agree with the

score. I somewhat feel that scoring on this field is somewhat subjective and situational based,

For the broader picture this is fine but cannot drill down to granular level .

Judging – I agree with this scoring, as judgment comes after closely observing reports, people,

numbers, and/or other relevant factors. I felt questions were more similar to one given situation.

Assertive – I agree with this scoring, as being assertive is a key way to learn from mistakes and

develop patience, which is one of the most challenging qualities for all humans to cultivate.

I agree and good set of questions were asked to get the personality refelction

Question 03: Provide a reflection of results in all four areas in light of your personal and

professional experiences. (around 150-200 words)

Extraverted – My last held designation was Senior Manager – Integrated Solutions, where I

reported to the Senior Director. It was an individual contributor role that required me to be

extraverted with people, though I had to maintain a certain level of balance. Adapting this

behavior has gradually started reflecting in my day-to-day life outside of the professional

environment as well.
Intuitive – Based on my work area, about 60% of the tasks are intuitive. For example, when I do

capacity planning for the company, I need to account for factors like leaves, feedback, shrinkage,

bathroom breaks, and so on. These may not always play out exactly in the live scenario, but

being intuitive helps me provide the correct employee count to the accounts team for approval.

As mentioned earlier, this thought process is also reflected in my personal life.

Thinking – I believe there is enough information available to find 30-40% of the solution to the

problem we are trying to solve. For example, if I look outside and see that the climate is dull and

cloudy, instead of wondering whether it will rain, snow, or clear up soon, I can check the

weather forecast(information readily available). I can then use the remaining time to think about

how to stay prepared, like bringing a warmer, poncho, umbrella, or sunglasses with

sunscreen. There by saving time and some energy.

Judging - I observe the progress of reports and feedback from team members. Based on the

quality of work, I assess whether we need to train staff , change trainer or approach management

of have simplified process flow to get resolution to customers, identify areas of impact , and

decide if additional resources or support are needed to reduce impact. This judgment helps guide

the team toward better performance and ensures process works smooth providing more insights.

Assertive – In capacity planning, variations can sometimes severely impact performance metrics,

especially in the service industry. I stay assertive and learn from mistakes, quickly developing

contingency plans to minimize the impact.

For example, at my previous education services company, I scheduled temporary staff for Linux

exam supervision without accounting for a pre-mandate form that took 35-40 minutes to

complete. I had aimed for savings by scheduling exactly to the required hours, saving $16,900.

When the issue arose, I approached my reporting hierarchy honestly, and we discovered that the

break contract had been omitted from the RFQ. We resolved the issue without increasing costs,

proving that assertiveness and honesty work in my favor.

Question 04: Identify your career aspirations and develop an action plan in ONE area (based on

your results) where you would like to make some changes in your personality in order to become

successful in your career. (around 200-250 words)

I would like to a more Perceiving behaviour in the office which can help me become more

adaptable, flexible, and open to accept ideas, which is especially useful in fast-paced

environments. There are many steps to be implemented to improve but I would specially focus

on Practice Living with Uncertainty and Let go of the need to have everything planned and

resolved in advance. This will allow me to sit with uncertainty for a while. This will help me feel

less stressed when things are not perfectly organized. Seek Feedback from office co-workers

about what they think about the project and have open forum discussion to reach solution with

agreements. This will help me to avoid judging and jumping to conclusions. This will also help

me in not jumping to conclusions and open to adapt new changes.

By gradually incorporating these practices, I will become more adaptable, creative, and open to

the unexpected. My team may also become more comfortable with change and innovation, and
may create an environment where ideas and strategies can evolve over time rather than being

locked into rigid. Helping to change my attitude of judging things around.
