HOLIDAY’S HOMEWORK

KG1
• Story Time: Narrate simple stories
to your child; ask to recall some
characters and incidents of the story
by asking simple questions related to
the story and let them draw their
imagination in a drawing book.

• Show and Tell: Choose any 1 object


from your surroundings every day
and let your child speak a few lines
on it.

• Rhyme Time: Recite a rhyme with


voice modulation and actions (Try
using Dummy mike and recite
rhymes covered in school).

parents of young children to
promote reading at home.
 Choose a reading time for
your child, as in before a nap
eg.bedtime.
 Select an age-appropriate
book for your child.
 Let your child point out the
letters, shapes, colors, and
animals.
 Read aloud to your child
every day.

Let’s Imbibe following Social Skills in our
children:

 Greeting with a smile when someone


comes to the house, preferably in
English. Conversing freely but
politely with visitors, relatives
coming over to the house.

 Sitting at the dining table with the


family to eat the meals, using proper
table manners. Do not watch
television while having meals with
the family.

 Sharing toys, colors, etc. with


siblings.

surroundings clean.

 The good habit of sharing and making

 Encourage your child to water the plants.

 Plan a picnic with your family and friends

 Indulge your child in any one hobby like skating, basketball,


dance, musical instruments, swimming, etc.

 Encourage your child to take care of ‘Personal Hygiene’ by


inculcating the following habits:

 Brushing teeth twice a day

 Combing hair regularly

 Bathing every day

 Washing hands before and after meals

Trimming the nails and keeping them clean

BUTTERFLY POSE :Sit on the ground and join the soles
of the feet and spread the knees. Hold your feet with
hands and move the legs up and down like a butterfly
moves her wings.

• COW POSE Get on hands and knees, and then push


your tummy towards the floor, while chin and tailbone
strive towards reaching the ceiling. Moo loudly like a
cow.

drawing book.

Revise all the concepts covered in the class i.e.
Forward Counting 0-20, Missing Numbers 0-20, what
comes After?0-20, Put Sign</>/=(0-10) Backward
Counting 10-0.
