Job Description:
Administrative:
In-charge in overseeing all operations of the pharmacy.
Evaluates staffs’ performance and helps in making the employees understand and improve on
their role/s.
Acts as the official signatory for all documents relating to the pharmacy.
Strictly implements Policies, Infarctions and Sanctions in accordance to existing, official standard
operating procedure; reviews and implements disciplinary action accordingly.
Represents pharmacy in official government transactions, seminars, trainings and related
meetings.
In-charge with the creation and designation of manpower schedule.
In-charge of spearheading preparations and designation of tasks to all pharmacy staff for
internal/external audit.
Writes endorsements to all pharmacy staff in relation to its operations as needed.
Creates memorandum for all changes and concerns in pharmacy to be disseminated to all staff.
In-charge of client/customer’s concerns and makes final decisions to settle disputes or
complaints.
Devices new ways to generate income and increase sales of pharmacy.
Job Description & Qualifications
Production:
Forecast, adjust and orders pharmaceutical supplies, merchandise, cosmetics and other articles
from suppliers on scheduled dates of ordering.
In-charge with the operation, creation and processing of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Order,
Deliveries-Receiving Entries, Physical Count, and Expense Issuance (in relation to production
requirements).
Authorized to create, approve and sign purchase requisition slip & purchase order slip for
production requirements of pharmacy.

Pharmacist
Clinical
Works closely with the employed pharmacy assistants to ensure safe, responsible and systematic
operations of pharmacy and be able to adhere to the applicable legal rules, regulations, and
procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
Compounds and dispenses medications as prescribed by doctors.
Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any
potential side effects.
Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
Conducting health and wellness screenings, as needed.
Providing immunizations, and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature
measurements, and checking blood sugar levels, as needed.
Keeping accurate customer records.
Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries,
maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged
drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical
practice.
Performing other administrative tasks when needed.
Guides other staff of the pharmacy in performing pharmaceutical duties that requires professional
knowledge and skills of a duly licensed pharmacist.

Pharmacy Assistant
Job Description/
General Duties:
Assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications and other
pharmaceuticals to inpatients, healthcare providers, outpatients and customers.
Assist in the preparation of extemporaneous pharmaceuticals.
Accurately count and pour medications from stock containers.
Repackage and label products and extemporaneous doses.
Receive and input prescription orders into system.
Liaise with healthcare providers to ensure accuracy of prescription information.
Release refill medications and over-the-counter products in accordance with existing procedures.
Request new prescriptions from physicians where necessary.
Provide patients and customers with necessary information about their prescriptions, medications and
products.
Maintain work area in an organized and hygienic manner and practice 6S in the workplace.
Keep pharmacy equipment clean and in good working order.
Ensure products and shelves are kept neat and tidy.
Adhere to quality assurance standards at all times
Performs general cleaning and inventory of periodically.
Labels all containers with tags as needed.
Practices First-In-First-Out method in all merchandise items and other supplies in the pharmacy.
Writes endorsements to the other staff of the pharmacy as needed.
Well-informed about the standard operating procedures of the pharmacy and follows it accordingly.
Performs other related duties that may be assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Inventory management:
Monitor and maintain inventory of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies
Place orders for required inventory
Receive and record medications and pharmaceutical products
Process charges
Package and label medications and pharmaceutical products
Organizes audited deliveries in proper shelves and containers.
