Job Role: Data Privacy Consulting

Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Mumbai/Pune/Gurgaon/
Hyderabad

Experience: 4 - 12 years

Primary Skill: Working knowledge in at least one data


privacy regulation.

Secondary skill: Nice to have experience in any data


privacy management tool like OneTrust, BigID, Collibra,
Securiti, TrustArc etc.

Job Description:

Knowledge of relevant data protection and privacy


laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, PDPL, LGPD,
DPDP Act etc.) and experience in implementation of
at least one regulatory requirements.
Understanding of EU AI Act is an added advantage.
Gather/validate the requirement for supporting data
privacy compliance management.
Collaborate with Privacy Office, Legal, Information
Security departments to identify and controls data
processing risks.
Conduct/review assessments, prepare various
templates as per the regulatory standards.
Ability to advise client on data privacy and protection
regulations.
Ability to assess the current state of data privacy
program and help client with a matured data privacy
compliance roadmap.
Define dashboard and matrix for monitoring and
reporting purpose.
Monitor and remain up to date with the requirements
of legislation and conduct necessary gap analysis
processes to identify gaps/risk and help build
necessary measures/controls.
Prepare communications, training materials and
conduct training sessions for clients' employees on
the importance of data privacy and how to maintain
compliance with data privacy policies and
procedures.
Monitor any new or changes to existing process,
applications, products and ensure data privacy
measures are implemented and privacy risks if any
are appropriately managed.
Draft/update guidelines, policies, procedures and
such other documents as required based on the
internal or external changes.
Pro-actively analysing existing operations policies,
processes, systems, controls and relevant
documents to assess areas for improvement in
respect of data privacy and protection and make
recommendations for change.
Support in assessing privacy automation tools and
vendors.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Work independently with minimal supervision to
define and implement the solutions.
