Hunters are exceptional sharpshooters, known for their expert use of ranged weapons
and their agility in combat. Whether wielding energy pistols, rifles, or bows, they
excel at hitting their marks from afar and navigating the battlefield with finesse.

You have 6 additional points to divide among your stat pools as you wish.

Your most important pools are speed and intellect.

First Tier Hunter

Effort: Your Effort is 1.

Light on your Feet: You have a Speed Edge of 1.

Cypher Use: You can bear two cyphers at a time.

Ranged Proficiency: You have practiced extensively with all forms of ranged
weaponry. You can use any ranged weapon but have an inability when attacking with
melee weapons. Enabler.

Quickdraw: You can ready or holster a ranged weapon as a single action instead of a
round. Enabler.

Deadshot: When you spend an Speed point to decrease the difficulty of a long-range
attack, the cost is reduced by 1. Enabler.

Evasion: You are highly skilled in dodging attacks. You gain an asset on Speed
defense tasks to avoid physical attacks. Enabler.

Special Abilities: Choose four of the abilities described below. You can’t choose
the same ability more than once unless its description says otherwise.

Deadshot (1 Intellect point): Your precision in long-range attacks allows you to


decrease the difficulty of a ranged attack by one step. This can only be used once
per encounter.

Quickdraw: You can ready or holster a ranged weapon as a single action instead of a
round. Enabler.

Evasion (1 Speed point): Your agility aids in dodging attacks. Gain an asset on
Speed defense tasks to avoid physical attacks until your next turn.

Precise Strike: You can apply Effort to increase the damage of your ranged attacks
as if you had one more level of effort than you currently do this only applies to
using effort to do extra damage and no other action. Enabler.

Rapid Reload: Your reloading speed with ranged weapons is impressive. You can
reload and fire a weapon in a single action. Enabler.

Cover Fire (1 Intellect point): As a ranged combat expert, you can provide covering
fire to protect allies. Spend an action to grant an asset on Speed defense tasks
for your allies until the end of the round.

Ambush Specialist: Gain an asset on surprise attacks and initiative rolls. Enabler.

Holographic Decoy (1 Intellect point): Once per encounter, you can create a
holographic duplicate to divert enemy attention, granting an asset to your Speed
defense tasks. It lasts until the end of the encounter.

Tier 2 Hunter: Choose two of the abilities described below (or from a lower tier)
to add to yourrepertoire. In addition, you can replace oneof your lower-tier
abilities with a different
one from a lower tier.

Trick Shot (2 Intellect points): Your precision is unmatched. Once per encounter,
you can make a called shot to target a specific body part of an opponent. If
successful, you might disable a limb, blind an enemy, or achieve another similar
effect determined by the GM and the specific body part.

Rapid Fire: When using a ranged weapon with the Rapid Fire property, you can make
an additional attack against two different targets or both against the same target.
The second shot increases the difficulty by one step. Enabler.

Steady Aim (2 Intellect points): You take a full round to aim, your next ranged
attack gains an asset.

Sniper's Nest: You are skilled at finding advantageous positions for ranged
attacks. Gain an asset when doing any action related to finding and taking cover.
Enabler.

Distant Precision: The range of your ranged weapons is effectively increased,


allowing you to engage targets at long distances without penalty. Enabler.

Energy Ammunition(2 Intellect): You can charge your ranged weapon with special
energy to deal energy damage, such as fire, ice, or electricity. This can have
various extra effects dependent on the energy type and the GM. This applies to one
shot and the intellect must be spent for each shot that uses this ability.

Tier 3 Hunter: Choose two of the abilities described below (or from a lower tier)
to add to yourrepertoire. In addition, you can replace oneof your lower-tier
abilities with a different
one from a lower tier.

Explosive Shot (3 Intellect points): You can modify your ranged weapon to fire
explosive projectiles. This attack deals area damage to all targets within
immediate range of the impact. This can be used once per encounter.

Deadeye (3 Intellect points): Your precision with long-range weapons is


exceptional. Once per day, you can automatically succeed on an attack roll.

Evasive Maneuvers: You gain an asset on Speed defense tasks when attempting to
dodge area attacks or evade pursuers. Enabler.
Cover Specialist: When taking cover, you become nearly impervious to attacks. Gain
an additional asset to Speed defense tasks while in cover. Enabler.

Critical Opportunist: When you score a critical hit, you gain an immediate
additional action to take another shot. Enabler.

Piercing Shot: Your ranged attacks can penetrate multiple targets or layers of
cover, allowing you to hit foes who are hiding or using allies as human shields.
When you make a ranged attack against a foe who has cover of any kind decrease the
difficulty by one step. Enabler.

Improved Holographic Decoy (3 Intellect points): Once per encounter, you can create
a holographic duplicate to divert enemy attention, Speed defense tasks are one step
less difficult.

Tier 4 Hunter: Choose two of the abilities described below (or from a lower tier)
to add to yourrepertoire. In addition, you can replace oneof your lower-tier
abilities with a different
one from a lower tier.

Hunter's Instinct: You gain an asset on all tasks related to tracking, stalking,
and ambushing opponents. Enabler.

Marked Prey (4 Intellect points): Once per encounter, you can designate a target as
"Marked." All your attacks against this target gain an asset and deal an additional
2 points of damage.

Vital Shot (4 Intellect points): You can target vital organs or systems with your
ranged attacks, this will cause an additional ongoing damage of 2 points per round
for 2 rounds or until the target is healed by any ability.

Bullet Hell (4 Speed points): Your rapid-fire attacks create a zone of danger
around you, making it difficult for opponents to approach or target you. For two
rounds, any foe who comes within immediate range of you takes your weapons damage
automatically each round they remain within immediate range of you. This uses the
full remaining ammunition or charge. Additionally, any foe targeting you from
outside that range has the difficulty raised by one step. While using this ability
you cannot move or take any other action until the ability ends.

Phantom Assassin (4 Intellect points): You gain the ability to phase in and out of
visibility, Once per day you can turn invisible for 1 minute. If you attack while
invisible you become visible and the ability ends.

Exterminator's Gaze: Your sheer precision allows you to target and neutralize
mechanical or robotic opponents with devastating effectiveness. Any attacks against
these beings is one step easier and you deal 2 additional damage. Enabler.

Tier 5 Hunter: Choose two of the abilities described below (or from a lower tier)
to add to your repertoire. In addition, you can replace one of your lower-tier
abilities with a different
one from a lower tier.

True Sharpshooter: Your mastery of long-range combat reaches its zenith. You ignore
any environmental penalties that might hinder your shot. Enabler.

Focused Barrage: When using a ranged weapon with the Rapid Fire property, you can
make two additional attacks against three different targets or split up any way
among any number of targets. The second shot increases the difficulty by one step
and the third by two steps. Enabler.

Mystical Precision (5 Intellect points): You've learned to harness the power of


Photon energy to enhance your accuracy. Once per day, you can channel Photon Energy
to ensure a ranged attack automatically hits and critically strikes its target.

Quick Reflexes (5 Speed points): Your reaction time is unparalleled. You can take
an immediate extra action on your turn in combat. This can only be used Once per
combat.

Master of Marksmanship: You've reached the pinnacle of ranged combat. You can make
an additional ranged attack with no penalty against a target you have already
damaged this round. This is on conjunction with the Rapid fire tier two ability or
the Focused Barrage tier 5 ability, so for example, if you hit with your first
attack, you can then make a second attack for free using this ability, and then, if
you have it, make another attack with Rapid fire at the normal one step difficulty
increase, then a third attack at two steps increased difficulty if you have Focused
Barrage. Enabler.

Tier 6 Hunter: Choose One of the abilities described below (or from a lower tier)
to add to your repertoire. In addition, you can replace one of your lower-tier
abilities with a different
one from a lower tier.

Supernova Shot (6 Intellect): Your ultimate attack, the "Supernova Shot," allows
you to channel an enormous amount of Photon Energy into a single devastating shot.
This attack ignores all armor and deals triple the weapon damage. You can use this
ability once per day and it drains the full charge from the dcell in the weapon.

Bullet Time: You can briefly slow down time to dodge attacks with incredible grace.
Once per day, you can choose to evade any physical attack without rolling. Enabler.

Master of All Arms: You become proficient with all forms of ranged weaponry,
granting you an asset when using any ranged weapon, including those you have not
used before, in addition if you hit with a ranged attack you deal an additional 4
damage. Enabler.
