SITE INDUCTION

For Construction and Pile Driving Operations

Project: Government Office Complex, Eccles/Haags Bosch

1. Welcome and Purpose


Welcome to the project site. This induction is mandatory for all personnel and visitors. Its
purpose is to:

 Ensure your safety and the safety of others.


 Make you aware of site rules, risks, and emergency procedures.
 Ensure compliance with HSE policies and local regulations.

2. Site Rules & Expectations


 All personnel must sign in/out daily.
 PPE is mandatory: Hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety boots, gloves, hearing and
eye protection.
 Unauthorized access is prohibited.
 No smoking except in designated areas.
 Zero tolerance for drugs, alcohol, harassment, or violence.

4. Environmental and Social Responsibilities


 Minimize dust, noise, and waste.
 Use eco-friendly materials where possible.
 Respect local communities and maintain clean surroundings.
 Report spills or damage to environment immediately.

5. Emergency Procedures
 First aid kits are located at the site office.
 Emergency contacts and numbers are posted on safety boards.
 In case of emergency:
→ Raise the alarm (How will this be done?)
→ Follow designated evacuation routes
→ Assemble at the muster point
→ Wait for instructions from safety personnel

6. Incident Reporting
 Report all incidents, injuries, and near misses immediately to your supervisor.
 Use the site’s incident report forms.
 All reports are confidential and help improve safety.

7. Working at Heights ( Where applicable)


 Always use fall arrest systems.
 Inspect ladders/scaffolds before use.
 Do not work at height in bad weather or without proper training.

8. Your Role & Stop Work Authority


 You have the right and responsibility to stop unsafe work.
 Attend daily toolbox talks and comply with all instructions.
 Cooperate with safety audits, inspections, and drills.

9. Final Acknowledgment
By signing below, you confirm that you:

 Have received and understood this induction.


 Agree to follow all HSE policies and instructions.
 Will report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
