“My Future Plans Vision Board”

📅 Date:March 26th
Task: Students make a vision board with pictures and sentences about
their future goals (e.g., "I am going to travel to Spain," "I want to learn
how to play the guitar").
Variation: They present their board to the whole class.

Objective:
To create a visual representation of your future goals, aspirations,
and dreams using a vision board. This project will help you think
about what you want to achieve and how you can work towards it.

Instructions:

1. Think About Your Future:

○ Take some time to reflect on your personal, academic,

and professional goals for the future. Consider the
following:
■ Career Goals: What job or profession do you want
to have? What skills do you need to develop?
■ Personal Goals: What personal achievements or
experiences would you like to have? This could
include travel, hobbies, relationships, or health.
■ Academic Goals: What are your educational
aspirations? Do you plan to continue your studies,
take new courses, or achieve certain certifications?
■ Other Aspirations: Think about anything else that
is important to you in the future.
2. Create Your Vision Board:

○ Create a presentation (power point or canva)

■ Words, phrases, or quotes that inspire you or
describe your future aspirations
■ Markers, stickers, or other decorative elements
to add creativity
○ Arrange the images, words, and symbols on your board
to visually represent your future. Be creative and make it
personal!
3. Write a Short Description (1-2 Paragraphs):

○ Introduction: Write a brief introduction to your vision

board. Describe what it represents and why you chose
these specific goals and images.
○ Explanation: For each section of your vision board
(career, personal, academic, etc.), explain why you chose
the images or words you included. What do they mean
to you? How do they reflect your future plans?
4. Prepare to Present Your Vision Board:

○ You will present your vision board to the class. During

your presentation:
■ Show Your Board: Explain each section of your
vision board, pointing out specific goals and
images.
■ Talk About Your Plans: Share how you plan to
achieve your goals and why they are important to
you.
5. Present to the Class:

○ Your presentation should be 3-5 minutes long. Practice

speaking clearly and confidently about your goals and
vision.
