[even] of the tribe of Gad, [were] forty and five thousand six hundred
and fifty. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the
wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but
the wise shall understand. All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and
truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. Every bed,
whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing,
whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean. Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in
Ophel, unto [the place] over against the water gate toward the east, and
the tower that lieth out. And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt
therein. When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my
prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. And [as for] their
appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the
midst of a wheel. And they took him, and killed [him], and cast [him] out
of the vineyard. Will they make an end in a day? And they made two ouches
[of] gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of
the breastplate. I [am] the man [that] hath seen affliction by the rod of
his wrath. And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that
taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the
feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the
LORD God of their fathers. Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your
habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread. Say, I pray thee, thou [art]
my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall
live because of thee. They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a
portion for foxes. And the Levites stood with the instruments of David,
and the priests with the trumpets. For the flesh lusteth against the
Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one
to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. And when the
children of Israel saw [it], they said one to another, It [is] manna: for
they wist not what it [was]. These also [shall be] unclean unto you among
the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse,
and the tortoise after his kind, And the ferret, and the chameleon, and
the lizard, and the snail, and the mole. For he that will love life, and
see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that
they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek
peace, and ensue it. For riches [are] not for ever: and doth the crown
[endure] to every generation? Hold up my goings in thy paths, [that] my
footsteps slip not. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth [it] not, then cometh the wicked [one], and catcheth away
that which was sown in his heart. Will he speak soft [words] unto thee?
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord [is] upon thee, and thou shalt be
blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And they arose out of Midian, and
came to Paran: and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to
Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed

of Gad dwelt over against them, in the land of Bashan unto Salchah: Joel
the chief, and Shapham the next, and Jaanai, and Shaphat in Bashan. 1And
the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before
it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe [nor]
any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building. And Jesus
said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If
ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this
mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing
shall be impossible unto you. The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and]
all the nations that forget God. Then they rose up, and went away that
night. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that
gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which
were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal
shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying
that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Did not I weep for him
that was in trouble? And Athaliah did reign over the land. The fear of a
king [is] as the roaring of a lion: [whoso] provoketh him to anger
sinneth [against] his own soul. And, behold, six men came from the way of
the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter
weapon in his hand; and one man among them [was] clothed with linen, with
a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the
brasen altar. According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered
by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according
to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded
Moses. And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things
God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry. Go and see. And I
will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries,
and will consume thy filthiness out of thee. He that speaketh flattery to
[his] friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail. Shew the things
that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye [are] gods: yea, do
good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold [it] together.
Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought [it] to him from
year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly
sacrifice. And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] a man shall
nourish a young cow, and two sheep; And it shall come to pass, for the
abundance of milk [that] they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter
and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land. And Moses
numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I
do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto
those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of
the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. When Israel went out of Egypt,
the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; Judah was his
sanctuary, [and] Israel his dominion. And all the rulers of the

kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are

converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them. And he said, The
LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the
habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall
wither. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bare unto
David, and it was very sick. He that planted the ear, shall he not hear?
Thou [art] beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible
as [an army] with banners. Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice [is] to
the sons of man. And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the
LORD, according to all that David his father had done. Yet if [any man
suffer] as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God

unawares to Laban the Syrian, in that he told him not that he fled. And
that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go
forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of [this] life,
and bring no fruit to perfection. And whatsoever soul [it be] that doeth
any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his
people. Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry,

words of Hezekiah king of Judah. Then the people of the land weakened the

counsellers against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of
Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. I
will be his father, and he shall be my son. And Jonathan smote the
garrison of the Philistines that [was] in Geba, and the Philistines heard
[of it]. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath [is] in
thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. Wilt thou set
thine eyes upon that which is not? And when Joseph came home, they

pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with

me, saith the LORD. And the children of Israel that were present at

of Ammon. The length of one curtain [shall be] thirty cubits, and the
breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains [shall be

will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can
find? A Song of degrees. And he called the name of the place Massah, and
Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because
they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not? What say I
then? And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against
king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his

four hundred. And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by
him that dwelleth therein. And when they go forth into the utter court,
[even] into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their
garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and
they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people
with their garments. And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my
signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. And Hamor and Shechem his son

unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be
fulfilled. And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand upon
thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: [is it]
better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be
a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel? As a beast goeth down into
the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead
thy people, to make thyself a glorious name. The LORD hath appeared of
old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love:
therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. And the contention was
so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and
so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; And Paul chose Silas, and
departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God. Humble
yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. They shall
lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. The bread
which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? And it was
told him, saying, Behold, [he is] in Dothan. And when wilt thou return?
And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and
read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it
before the LORD. Then I saw, [and] considered [it] well: I looked upon
[it, and] received instruction. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot
be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening. And
the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a
pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, [are] they not
written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? For every
one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with
salt. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance
shall be for ever. They took the young men to grind, and the children
fell under the wood. And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing,
and [is] a witness, whether he hath seen or known [of it]; if he do not
utter [it], then he shall bear his iniquity. I have raised up [one] from

Jerusalem above my chief joy. And all the army of the Chaldees, that
