ready to call my Ancestors.
Po lets out a choked squeak, his eyes wide.
One of the larger creatures lets out a bone-
shaking roar, its horn glistening in the low light.
Woo yelps and stands protectively in front of me.
Pippy and Thara spread their wings, ready to fight.

This one’s not terrifying, but more . . . strange. ‘Hey! HEY!’ I cry, my voice trembling
