JD for EPS (Technical Consultant)

As a Senior SME, you should be able to handle first point escalation for all technical and process
issues. Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required, ensure proper
communication and quick resolution. Perform RCA for Major Incident’s related to his / her
tower Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement. Participate in business
meetings with various stake holders on a need basis. Effort estimation/reviews on need basis
for new projects.
Minimum work experience: 10-15 Years

Activities/Responsibilities
 Strong knowledge and hands on Experience in Trellix (McAfee EPO) and Symantec Data
center security.
 Hand on experience in Trellix AV, App Control, Encryption and Skyhigh client proxy,
Fireye IR.
 Technical exposure on TrendMicro AV, Microsoft Defender, Bitlocker
 Also technically sound on Symantec AV, DCS, EDR and ICap.
 Implementation\upgrades based on customer requirment. GFRC approvals
 Creation\Redefining\Modification\Optimization on policy as per customer
requirements.
 Incidents, Tasks and Change request handling maintain SLAs.
 Experience in Windows and Linux deployment and troubleshooting.
 Working on escalation incidents on priority basis.
 Attending CAB calls and On-Call support.
 Performing (POCs) Proof of Concept for various Endpoint tools.
 Working with vendor for root cause and RCA document.
 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with ability to work effective
with customers and internal teams.
 Incident investigation & Problem management (Root cause analysis)
 Troubleshooting and resolution of Security incident & Upkeep and sustenance of the
endpoint management servers
 Work with customer and support on ad hoc requests & Complete the assigned task
within the SLA
 Service incidents, change request submitted around Customer global office.
 Execute hash, executable block/unblock requests as received from Cyber Security
Services Team.
 Examine user request and allow execution of the authorized software
 Ensure compliance by taking up with OSS and SE for missing control.
