A. Is cybersecurity risk management complex? Why or why not?

Yes because there are more choices to be considered before deciding on the big situation. Your
decision has a big impact because the reputation of a company depends on you. As an IT team
or became a Security Manager you must know all the possibilities and vulnerabilities and plan
ahead of time. Also, make sure you and your teams must be prepared for all the possible
scenarios such as attacks, data breaches, and other problems that they will encounter to take an
action wisely and smartly to avoid worsening of the problem.

B. What particular cybersecurity/risk management question in the game was difficult to


answer? Rationalize your answer.

The difficult to answer is that what would I do when the breach of data is happening and my
answer is Shut Down the Server. Later I realize that when I come to the office I was wrong
because it worsens the situation. After the game, the speaker explains my results to me and
explain the impact of my decision not to shut down the server because it is not a good idea and
I learned my lesson. I make sure to decide smartly to avoid this kind of situation because the
confidential data depend on my decision.

C. Would you answer differently if you were asked to play the game again? Why or why not?

Yes, I would answer differently If I play the game. I learn from my mistakes decisions and I want
to improve it If I play the game. This kind of game challenges my knowledge of cybersecurity as
an IT student because this will be my guide when I work in the company especially if I pursue to
be in the security team. It helps me to study harder about security issues because this is the
most important to secure when working in the company.

D. What vulnerabilities or threats have you encountered in the game? Briefly explain each.

The vulnerabilities that I encounter is the security of the application that they will launch. Their
Security Manager notice that the security of the application cannot guarantee. I choose to
postpone that project and work on it internally which is a good idea. The team will work
together and make sure to identify issues and threats before launching the application. By doing
this, they can avoid the attackers and other scenarios that will compromise the data of the
company.

E. Is it important and necessary to analyze risks and perform preventive measures against
possible attacks for a network? Why or why not?

Yes, because analyzing the risk make you prepared for any possible problem that may be
encountered in the long run. The team should plan the possible risk and how they gonna handle
and solve it immediately. The team prepares their selves in this kind of situation to avoid the
wrong decision. The team should be well prepared if either software and hardware they need to
secure their network are the most important at all times.
