TASK 1 Estimate and calculate decimal totals

1 Estimates will depend on how you rounded the numbers. You may have rounded to the
nearest whole number or you may have rounded to one decimal place.

a 0.8 + 0.7 = 1.5 b 0.4 + 0.3 = 0.7 c 0.9 + 0.2 = 1.1 d 0.218 + 0.64
= 0.858

e 0.578 + 0.3 f 0.6 + 0. 748 g 0.09 + 0.008 h 0.88 + 0.13


= 0.878 = 1.348 = 0.098 = 1.01
