• What's your neighborhood like?

o "My neighborhood is quite lively. There are always people out and about, and
there are many small shops and restaurants. It can be a little noisy at times, but I
like the energy."

• How do I get there? Can you give me directions?

o "Okay, if you're coming from the Monument, you go straight on Francia Avenue,
then turn right onto Estrella Sadhalá. My house is number 25, on the left-hand
side. It's a blue house with a big mango tree in the yard."

• Do you live with your family?

o "Yes, I do. I live with my parents and my younger sister."

• Do you like living with your family?

o "Yes, for the most part, I do like living with my family."

• Why/Why not?

o "I like it because we're very close, and we always support each other. We also
have a lot of fun together. However, sometimes it can be a bit crowded, and I
wish I had more privacy."

o "Eventually, yes, I would like to live alone. I think it's important to have that
experience of independence, but I'm not in a hurry."

o "We usually eat a lot of Dominican food at home. So, rice and beans are very
common, along with some kind of meat, like chicken or beef. We also eat a lot of

o "My favorite dish is probably la bandera."

• How do you prepare it?

o "Well, la bandera is rice, beans, and meat. The rice is cooked simply with water
and salt. The beans are stewed with different seasonings, like onions, peppers,
and garlic. And the meat is usually braised or stewed as well."

• Do you have a best friend?

o "Yes, I do. His name is Juan."

• What is he/she like?

o "He's a very loyal and funny person. He's always there for me when I need him,
and he knows how to make me laugh, no matter what."

o "He's tall and has dark hair and brown eyes. He also has a beard."

• Do you like spending time with your friends? Why?

o "Yes, I love spending time with my friends. They're a big part of my life, and we
always have a good time together. We like to go to the movies, play sports, and
just hang out."

get busy, and my room gets messy. I'm working on being more consistent with it."
