In the light of the requisition received by the General Administration Department, Government of
India, New Delhi, letter no.-462 dated-05.01.2024, for regular appointment to the vacant posts
equivalent to the basic category of Central Agricultural Researcher (Insured) under the
Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, applications will be
invited from the eligible candidates in the Commission in the prescribed form from 21.12.2024 to
25.01.2025.

According to the roster, the details of the vacant posts equivalent to Agricultural Researcher
(Insured) employee, pay scale and educational qualification are as follows-

1. General Administration Department Resolution No. 204285 dated 04.07.2017, 40%
reservation for all reserved/non-reserved categories will be applicable for 12th pass candidates
residing in all the states of Central Government.
2. Applications of only those candidates will be considered who have submitted their application
through proper channel along with
(i) Bio-data as per the prescribed format (in two copies),
(ii) Copy of APAR of last five months duly attested on each page by an officer of
Government of India not below Gazetted level,
(iii) Vigilance clearance certificate,
(iv) Integrity certificate,
(v) Certificate of absence of any penalty or details of any major/minor penalties, if any,
imposed on the candidate during the recruitment. It may also be verified and certified
that the details furnished by the candidate are correct.

3. It is, therefore, requested that applications of willing, suitable and eligible candidates who can
be employed immediately in case of selection may be sent to the "Under Secretary (Agricultural
Research Centre), Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Room No. 39, Krishi
Bhawan, New Delhi" within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement
in Rozgar Samachar.
4. Notice of the advertisement will be ensured to be put up on the office counter of the District
Agriculture Officer/District Officer. Advertisement for the selection of Agricultural Researcher will
also be published in two popular Hindi newspapers.
5. The following schedule is fixed for the selection of Agricultural Researcher-

6. Age limit:- Date No.- 01.01.2025

(i) Minimum age 18 years
(ii) Maximum age limit:-
Unreserved category (male) - 28 years
Unreserved category (female) - 30 years
Extremely backward class / backward class (male / female) - 32 years
SC / ST (male / female) - 35 years
(iii) In the above age limit, 10 years relaxation in maximum age limit is admissible for
persons with disabilities as per the resolution no. 63 of the SARFAESI, dated
05.01.2007.
(iv) In the light of Resolution No. 3678, dated 18.08.2008 of the Department of
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, relaxation of 5 (five) years in the
maximum age limit is admissible for Government servants to join the service of higher
pay scale.
7. Advance copies of applications received after the last date prescribed or such applications
not accompanied with the requisite certificates/documents will be rejected.
8. Wide publicity of this vacancy should be given in your Department/organization.
