Find the number of the remaining vitamin tablets. Also find the weight of remaining
tablets if each tablet weighs 400 mg.
Number of remaining tablets = 1,80,000 – 18,734 = 1,61,266
Weight of of remaining tablets = 1,61,266 x 400 = 6,45,06,400 mg

29. What is meant by factor of a number? Write all the factors of 50.
The exact divisor of the given number is called its factor.
Factors of 50 = 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 and 50.

30. List all the factors of 18 and 24, and find their common factors.
Factors of 18 = 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and 18
Factors of 24 = 1, 2, 3, 4. 6, 8, 12 and 24
Common factors = 1, 2, 3 and 6.

31. “A number has finite number of factors and infinite number of multiples” - Justify this
statement with an example.
The factors of 12 = 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12. So finite number of factors are there.
Multiples of 12 = 12, 24, 36, 48, ……. So infinite number of multiples are there.
So any number has finite number of factors and infinite number of multiples
