(i) 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

The 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated on 2nd October 2019. Various

events were organized across India to honor the Father of the Nation, including cleanliness drives,

exhibitions, and peace marches. The government launched the 'Gandhi@150' campaign focusing

on his ideals of non-violence, truth, and swachhta. The celebration reminded citizens of his vision for

a self-reliant and inclusive India.

52. (i) Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016

The Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) 2016 aimed to provide Indian citizenship to non-Muslim

minorities (Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, and Christians) from Afghanistan, Bangladesh,

and Pakistan who entered India before December 31, 2014. The bill sparked nationwide debates

54. (i) Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched on 2nd October 2014 by PM Narendra Modi, aimed to eliminate
