Complete Detailed Estimation Report –

G+1 Row House

1. Project Details

Project: Residential Row House (G+1)

Plot Size: 20 ft × 40 ft = 800 sq.ft (74.3 m²)
Wall Thickness: 9 inches (0.23 m)
No. of Floors: Ground + First (G+1)
Floor Height: 10 ft each floor
Number of Columns: 10
Column Size: 9 in × 12 in (0.23 m × 0.30 m)
Beam Size: 9 in × 12 in (0.23 m × 0.30 m)
Slab Thickness: 5 in (0.125 m)
Footing Size: 1.2 m × 1.2 m × 0.45 m

2. Earthwork – Excavation & Filling

Excavation for footing (10 footings):

Volume = 1.5 m × 1.5 m × 1.5 m = 3.375 m³ × 10 = 33.75 m³

Backfilling = 50% of excavation = 16.875 m³

3. PCC (1:4:8)

Below footing: 1.5 m × 1.5 m × 0.1 m = 0.225 m³ × 10 = 2.25 m³

4. RCC for Footings

Footing Size: 1.2 m × 1.2 m × 0.45 m = 0.648 m³ × 10 = 6.48 m³

Reinforcement: 12 mm bars @ 150 mm c/c both ways, approx 184 kg total steel.
5. Plinth Beam & Wall

Plinth RCC Beam Volume (approx): 0.23 m × 0.3 m × 40 m = 2.76 m³

Brickwork above plinth: 40 m × 0.75 m × 0.3 m = 9 m³

6. Brickwork (Ground + First Floor)

Each Floor Wall Area = (2 × 12 + 2 × 6) × 3 m = 72 m² per floor

Total Wall Area = 144 m², Wall Volume = 144 × 0.23 = 33.12 m³

7. RCC Columns

Column Volume: 0.23 m × 0.3 m × 3 m × 10 columns × 2 floors = 4.14 m³

Reinforcement: Approx. 712 kg steel (including stirrups)

8. RCC Beams

Beam Volume: 0.23 m × 0.3 m × 30 m (total run) = 2.07 m³ × 2 = 4.14 m³

Steel: Approx. 278 kg

9. RCC Slab

Slab Area: 74.3 m² × 2 = 148.6 m²

Volume = Area × Thickness = 148.6 × 0.125 = 18.575 m³
Reinforcement (1% of volume): ≈ 1456 kg

10. Plastering

Total Wall Area: 144 m² × 2 sides = 288 m²

11. Flooring

Each Floor = 74.3 m² × 2 = 148.6 m²

Tiles or IPS flooring assumed.

12. Total Reinforcement Steel Summary

Structural Member Steel Quantity (kg)
Footings 184 kg
Columns 712 kg
Beams 278 kg
Slabs 1456 kg
Total 2,630 kg
