Notes: (1) Examination Centres: Own classrooms (except for NCS Chinese I and II which will be held
at A706).
(2) There will be no bell to indicate the start and finish of the examinations.
(3) Students should sit according to their class numbers.
EXAMINATION REGULATIONS

1. Students are required to attend the morning assembly at their own examination venues before the start of
the first session of each examination day.

2. Good conduct, silence and absolute honesty are essential. Students found cheating will be liable to a mark
penalty or disqualification and will be given a warning in the school record.

3. Absentees must report to Ms. M. Yip (S4-5) or Ms. W. Chiu (S1-3) following their absence with a
medical certificate and a letter of excuse signed by their parents. No supplementary examination will be
arranged for excused absentees. Unexcused absentees will be given zero for the subject(s) concerned.

4. All students must be punctual. Students who arrive late but within 30 minutes after the start of the paper
will be allowed to take the examination. Students who arrive 30 minutes late or beyond will be allowed
to take the examination but the school reserves the right to decide whether the script will be accepted or
not. No extra time will be given. For listening examinations, oral examinations and practical
examinations, latecomers are not allowed to enter the examination venue once the examination session
has started.

5. Mobile phones, smart watches, electronic devices as well as books, paper or notes of any kind should be
put inside bags under the students’ chairs.

6. Students are NOT allowed to borrow any stationery or calculator from other
students after the commencement of the official examination announcement.

7. During the examination period, students should sit according to their class numbers. No student is
allowed to change his/her seat without the approval of the invigilator or the Class Teacher.

8. After receiving the examination materials and answer sheets, students should check that there are no
missing pages. Students should not start writing until they are told to do so.

9. Students should stop writing when they are told to do so when the time is up. No extra time will be given
for writing down the name, class or question numbers etc.

10. Students should check that they have handed in ALL examination materials to the invigilator before they
leave the examination venue.

11. S1 to S3 students are not allowed to leave early for all examination sessions.
For S4 to S5, NO students will be allowed to leave before the scheduled time in the first session of an
examination day with more than one examination session. In the last session of an examination day, for
papers which last one hour or longer, students are allowed to leave the examination room/centre within
the last 30 minutes. However, students have to remain in their seats within the last 5 minutes before the
end of the examination. No early leave is allowed for listening examinations, examinations with MC
questions only and practical examinations.

12. On leaving the examination venue, students should not talk or loiter in the corridors. After the last session
of the day, students should go home immediately.

13. During the examination period, students who have no examination need not attend school. There will be
no lessons during the examination period.

14. If an examination has to be cancelled due to an emergency, that examination shall be postponed to any
day appropriate, and students will be notified of the new arrangements. All unaffected examinations shall
take place as originally scheduled.
