Good morning to all our attendees of our Seminar on the New Government Procurement Act

Before we begin, let's start with a moment of prayer to guide our activity and discussions
through an audio-visual presentation

Now, to introduce the participants for this seminar, may I call on the Head, NHQ BAC Secretariat,
PCOL ARVIN Q ALCANTARA

(INTRO TO PARTICIPANTS)

Thank you sir!

And to give the Welcome Remarks for this Seminar, I will now give the floor to the Vice-
Chairman, NHQ BAC, The Director for Logistics, PMGEN NERI VINCENT D IGNACIO sir.

Before we proceed with the Seminar, let us first take note of our house rules and reminders.

Let us now begin this seminar by Introducing our esteemed lecturer, first to grace us in this
seminar is the current Servicing Legal Officer of the National Headquarters Bids and Awards
Committee, and the concurrent Assistant Chief of the Legal Assistance Division of the PNP Legal
Service.

He has served as legal officer for various PNP offices like SAF, DRD, NPTI, NHQ BAC Secretariat,
OTCDS, ODCA, and Rizal PPO. He was also a member of the TWG for Document Review of the
PNP NHQ BAC and a former member of SAF BAC.

He is a graduate of Bachelor of Laws from the Lyceum of the Philippines University. He took up
Master in Development Management at the Asian Institute of Management, and he is a thesis-
short away from obtaining his Master of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines
College of Law. To the attendees of this seminar, let us give a warm welcome to PLTCOL Camilo A
Danao JR. sir.

To proceed on to our next lecturer, She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, major in Legal
Management, from the University of Santo Tomas, graduating cum laude in 2016. Thereafter,
she pursued her postgraduate studies in law at the same university, obtaining her Juris Doctor
degree in 2020 with the distinction of being included in the Dean’s List. She successfully passed
the 2020–21 Bar Examinations, which was administered in 2022. Upon entry into the Philippine
National Police, she completed the Logistics Management Course and is presently designated as
Legal Officer, NHQ BAC.
