Learning Task 1: Realizing What Teaching Internship is All About

My Performance Tasks
Performance Task 1: Complete the structured frame.
I need to undergo teaching internship because it helps me to prepare as
aspiring teacher in the future. There are numerous benefits in joining a student
teaching internship. Two of the most important things are (1) the teaching
experience and (2) a chance to work under experienced teachers who act as
mentors. Also, to be able to have authentic hands-on experience in teaching. This
is required to develop my teaching skills and to start collecting experiences to
enrich my professional wisdom.

Performance Task 2: Among the 4 phases of internship, which seems difficult? Why?
Phase 1 Orientation Sessions
Phase 2 Observation and Building Relationship
Phase 3 on Site Tasks
Phase 4 Final Demonstration and Accomplishing Exit Forms

In my perception, I experience difficulty on Phase 3 on Site Tasks is the most

challenging phase of the internship. This phase involves direct interaction with students,
where I had to apply what I learned in real classroom settings. Managing an actual class
requires a lot of preparation, adaptability, and confidence, which can be overwhelming
at times.
.
-
Performance Task 3: Research on the following legal documents that apply to the
teaching profession. Write your insights on the spaces provided.

face if they continue bullying other
classmates or students. Bullying and
sexual harassment are no joke. Suicide
rate now a days are very high because of
bullying.
RA 7877 Anti Sexual Harassment Act of Report directly to POD. Like what I said,
1995 sexual harassment is not a joke too.
Many students commit suicide just
because they’re being ignore by people
who trusted them. I’ll directly report to the
person-in-charge in disciplining the
students in school if and only if there is a
case like this. That’s the best thing to do,
on my part.
RA 4670 The Magna Carta for Public It serves as our protection. Because
School Teachers this law is about professional rights and
safeguards to all public school teachers.
Having academic freedom and other
benefits.
DepEd 40 s.2012 Child Protection Policy School is the students’ second home. I

for Teachers the pre-service teachers will know what are the things that they will

rules of the school and the VMGO of the school. It helps me in focusing the goal

because there’s a saying “kasalanan ng isa, kasalanan ng lahat”. In other words,
knowing school’s information helps the students know if the school is safe for
them or have a safe environment. All their efforts and hardships are useless if
there are issues like this and that.

Learning Task 4: Getting Acquainted with My Cooperating Teacher

Understandings
Name of Cooperating Teacher: SARRAH MAE L. SUELTO
Degree: BACHELOR OF ELEMENTARY EDUCATION
Area of Specialization:
Years of Teaching Experience: 6 YEARS
My Performance Tasks
Performance Task 1: Complete the matrix given below. Choose only three (3) of the
most important expectations given by your CT.
Expectations of My Cooperating Teacher My Responsibilities

Hard-working I will do my best to uphold the reputation of

my cooperating teacher. Even if I may not
match their level of dedication and hands-on
approach, I will strive to put in at least half of
their effort for the students. I will give my all
so that when the day comes that I become a
professional teacher, I can proudly share that
they were one of the reasons I persevered and
completed my chosen profession.
Not Complaining I will not grow as an individual if I
constantly complain. Everything that teachers
teach in school is meant for the betterment
and development of students' knowledge, and
the same applies in the field. Experienced
teachers can guide me, and I must listen to
their instructions without complaints. If I am
told, “Do it this way, not that way,” I will
follow willingly because I know that my four
years of study are not enough—I still have
much to learn in this profession.
With a Teachable Heart A person who thinks too highly of
themselves will not succeed. I will show my
willingness to learn from everything my
cooperating teacher teaches me. I will not
take feedback personally but instead embrace
it, knowing that it is meant to improve my
performance and help me grow. I will do all
of this wholeheartedly.

What is the impact of these expectations to me as a teaching intern?

- The high expectations of my cooperating teacher have motivated me to work
even harder during my internship. I know that I still have a lot to prove, but with
my CT’s guidance, I am confident that I will learn and grow significantly in this
profession.
Performance Task 2: Cite the three (3) most important policies and procedures given by
your CT to provide safe and secure learning environments to your learners.
Policies and Procedures How do I respond to these? My plans
of Action….
1. Monitor your students I will carefully observe and supervise my
students to ensure their safety, engagement,
and proper behavior in class.
2. Checking of attendance I will strictly record absences. A student may
only stay outside the classroom for a
maximum of five minutes. If they are not
inside the classroom within the designated
time, I will mark them as absent. If anything
happens to a student during my class time and
their absence is not properly recorded, I will
be held accountable.
3. Address misbehaviors Correcting students' behavior is one of my
key responsibilities. If certain behaviors
cannot be corrected at home, the school must
reinforce the importance of discipline and
respect. I will ensure that students understand
and practice the value of "respect" in the
classroom.

What is the impact of these policies and procedures to student learning?

- These policies and procedures play a crucial role in shaping students into
responsible and well-disciplined individuals. No one is perfect, but if students’
mistakes are not corrected, it would be as if they were neglected. With the proper
implementation of school policies, students will have a strong foundation to make
good choices, follow their teachers and elders, and develop into respectful and
well-mannered individuals.

Performance Task 3: My cooperating teacher is my role model in the following virtues.

Cite and give situations on how these virtues are applied?
Picture of your CT

Approachable She always make time for me even though

she is busy. I can ask questions openly.
Like, what to do to the lessons, what are
my lacking in teaching, asking help to
broaden my knowledge about the lesson so
that I can explain and discuss clearly my
lesson.
Supportive My cooperating teacher is always at my
side to support, cheer, and always say I can
do it. And also, he is always there to give
additional knowledge to the students. She
always gave me more references (like
videos, modules, etc.).
Understandable My cooperating teacher is very
understandable. She never pressure me,
instead, she give advices and always
motivate me in every way possible.

What is the impact of this letter to me as a teaching intern?

Through this letter, I can express the things I may not be able to say in person. It allows
me to convey my heartfelt gratitude for all the help, understanding, and guidance my
cooperating teacher has given me during my internship at Katipunan Central School
and SPED Center . Along with my appreciation, this letter also serves as an opportunity
to apologize for any mistakes I may have made while under their supervision. Writing
this letter has been a reflective experience for me, making me realize how much I have
learned and grown during my internship. Even if I may not continue this profession in
the future, I am still deeply grateful for the chance to teach and share my knowledge
and experiences with the students hoping that they, too, have learned something
