The document describes various green infrastructure elements including green walls, which are vertical gardens that enhance aesthetics and functionality, and green roofs that are vegetated roofs with multiple layers for support. It also explains photovoltaic arrays, which convert sunlight into electricity, and rainwater harvesting, a sustainable method for collecting and using rainwater. These elements contribute to eco-friendly building practices and resource conservation.

A GREEN WALL (also known as a living wall, vertical garden, or vertical green wall) is a

wall that is partially or completely covered with vegetation and often includes an integrated
water delivery system. Green walls can be installed on the interior or exterior of buildings and
serve both aesthetic and functional purposes.

A GREEN ROOF (also known as a living roof or vegetated roof) is a roof that is partially or
completely covered with vegetation and a growing medium, planted over a waterproofing
membrane. It may also include layers such as root barriers, drainage systems, and
irrigation.
A photovoltaic (PV) array is a system of interconnected solar panels designed to convert
sunlight into electricity. It’s the main component of a solar power system and is used in
residential, commercial, and industrial energy solutions.

Rainwater harvesting is the process of collecting, storing, and using rainwater that falls on
roofs or other surfaces, instead of letting it run off into drains or the ground. It’s a sustainable
and eco-friendly method to conserve water, reduce dependency on groundwater, and manage
stormwater.
