variable to the location of a supported 64-bit Java JRE.

2. Teamcenter Patch Installation

2.1 Server Extensions
Stop all Teamcenter services except FSC services. Make sure server manager is stopped.

2.2 Microservice Framework Patch to Teamcenter

Launch TEM for the configuration you are updating.
launch tem.bat with administrative privileges from TC_ROOT\install folder
(right-click the tem.bat icon → Run as administrator).

2.3 Active Workspace Patch on Teamcenter

Launch TEM for the configuration you are updating.

2.4 TC_DATA Update

After the server is successfully patched, you must manually update your TC_DATA
directories.
a. Create backups of your current TC_DATA directories.
b. Extract the TC_KITS\Tc14.0.0.0_ActiveWorkspace6.3.0_wntx64\tc\data.zip file

c. Copy the contents of the data.zip file to your TC_DATA directory,

overwriting existing files.

4. Web Application Configuration

4.1 tc.war File Creation

1. Go to TC 14.0 base installable

D:\TC_KITS\Tc14.0.0.0_wntx64\Web_tierr

Double click “INSTALL_TCWEB” and extract it in

“D:\SPLM\Web_Tier”

Go to TC 14.3 installable
D:\TC_KITS\Tc14.3.0.0_wntx64\wntx64\Web_tier

“INSTALL_TCWEB” double click and extract it in

“D:\SPLM\Web_Tier”

And replace all the existing files.

2. Run the insweb.bat file

1.Click on Copy ICDs.. Files and browse the below ICDs one by one & click on OK.
after completing Click on Add..

3. Click on Add & Browse all the disk location as mentined below.

4. Click on Add solution and select the Teamcenter Microservice

5. After adding the solutions then add server manager URL & Cluster ID and change the host
name in microservices URL.

After clicking on OK WAR file will get generated.

Deploying that WAR file

Copy the tc.war file and paste it in Web App.

Copy from

Paste it in Web_App

>> Now run the wildfly

Go to below location and run the standalone.bat file
D:\SPLM\Web_App\wildfly-26.1.2.Final\bin

After that open path in cmd and run this command “standalone.bat -b 0.0.0.0 “ to start the wildfly

Verify Active Workspace Connections

From a client machine in your environment, sign in using the Active Workspace
client. This tests the environment and the Active Workspace Gateway.
1. Sign in to a client machine in your environment.
2. Open a supported web browser.
3. Open the Active Workspace client URL:
http://host:3000
4. Type your username and password and click Sign in. Verify that you can
sign in without errors.

You can verify status of the Active Workspace Gateway and microservices
usingthe Gateway ping functionality.

5. Troubleshoot
5.1 Installation log files
Teamcenter Environment Manager generates files in the install directory under the
Teamcenter application root directory. These files help in tracking the installation
status and errors generated during installation.
5.2 installdate-time_configuration-ID.log

Teamcenter Environment Manager generates a log file for each installation and
configuration you create. The log file contains a record of activities performed by
Teamcenter Environment Manager. Keep these files to maintain a complete history
for troubleshooting purposes.insautonomy.log This file contains an installation
record for Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) server, the default full-text search
engine.

5.3 configuration.xml

This file contains a record of the Teamcenter installation. Teamcenter Environment

Manager uses the configuration file to enable you to maintain the installation,
including adding and removing components, patching installations, and upgrading
installations.
Caution: Do not remove the configuration.xml file. Removing the configuration.xml
file results in the inability to modify the installation using Teamcenter Environment
Manager.

5.4 uninstall.xml
This file contains a record of the Teamcenter uninstallation.

In addition, auxiliary programs called by Teamcenter Environment Manager

generate files in the logs directory under the Teamcenter application root directory.
Most files have the format:

5.5 Resolving Teamcente Installation Problems

The problems that can be faced during installation is listed with solution in
the following table:

A. Verify the DB related services are up.
