SOLVING THE CHALLENGES FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Onshore
Smart Wind Turbine
Product Portfolio
Flexible Combinations of Capacity
and Rotor for Diversed Global
Wind Conditions

Based on the research on the trend of global onshore wind power market and the ↓ LCOE
carbon neutral target of each country, Envision Energy continues to strive to
improve power generation of wind turbine and to reduce the cost of wind farms
through technological innovation, effectively reducing project LCOE and
maximizing client profits.

Envision Model-X series products are variable-speed-constant-frequency

double-fed smart wind turbines, which is a classic and reliable drive chain system,
Model-X
and developed together by international teams with extensive research and
development experience. The mature IPD product development process ensures
high quality development results, while strengthening wind farm test verification
and system-level test bench validification to fully guarantee the safety and
reliability of the products.

In complex wind conditions, for the rotational speed control of the wind turbine with larger sweeping
without over speed and excessive vibration, Envision smart control system is area per kW and higher
utilized to ensure safe and efficient operations of wind turbines, by significantly power generation
reduce extra thrust load and bending moment load, based on instant power,
generator torque change rate, and tower vibration value.

For low wind speed areas, we offer EN-171/4.X, EN-171/5.X, EN-182/5.X,

EN-182/6.X, with larger sweeping area per kW and higher power generation.

For medium and high wind speed areas, we offer EN-171/6.X~7.X, with larger unit capacity,
EN-182/6.X~7.X, with larger unit capacity, rotor diameter, and higher adaptable rotor diameter, and higher
wind speed. We can select the best yield solution according to client's site adaptable wind speed
situation and engineering conditions.

For site-specific wind characteristics (shear, turbulence, extreme wind, etc.), we

provide customized turbine and tower solutions by Greenwich platform to
optimize project revenues.
Mature and Reliable Technology
Envision onshore turines employ mature and reliable double-fed asynchronous power
generation technology that has been well proven for more than 30 years. The upwind
horizontal axis rotor is supported by main bearing and main gearbox, which is mounted
on the main frame through elastic elements to absorb vibration and shock. The
generator is partially inverted by power converter and then connected to the power grid.

Safer Supply Chain System

Envision's global R&D team has conducted in-depth analysis of on-shore characteristics
and previous failure cases. The core components are all jointly developed by Envision's
global R&D team, incorporating Envision's unique technology and application experience,
manufactured by world-renowned OEMs, and verified by vigorous tests to ensure their
high reliability. Envision has established a global supply chain with manufacturing bases
in China, India and Middle East to ensure top delivery capability.

Design Concept of Platformization

and Modularization
The design concept of platformization and modularization are used on Envision's
onshore wind tubines, enabling high modular rate of components and spare
parts among different wind turbines, flexible adaptation with diversified
configurations for different wind conditions. The product quality and reliability are
improved to meet the needs of customers in different markets.
Comprehensive
Energy System Solution
We provide a full set of complex system solutions including wind, solar, storage,
hydrogen and new power systems for applications such as hydrogen production
and zero carbon industrial parks, and can provide customized wind turbines for
different scenarios and demands.

Global Database for Renewable Asset Development

Envision developed inhouse solution platform Greenwich in 2014. Greenwich platform integrates the public
data library of renewable energy industry based on big data platform, providing professional supportive data
required in renewable asset evaluation and project planning, such as mesoscale climatic data, terrain and
elevation data, land surface and roughness data, administrative division, environmental sensitive area data,
and full-life-cycle data from design to operation of authorized projects. Greenwich integrates professional
mesoscale weather model based on high-performance calculation environment. Relying on data
accumulation, know how in meso scale model and AI calibration, Greenwich global wind atlas leads the
industry with high-accuracy virtual mast data service.

Renewable Asset Assessment Based on HPC

Greenwich integrates professional CFD model and Turbine Load simulation model based on High
Performance Computing(HPC) environment. Compared with other commercial CFD softwires, this model is
capable for CFD model simulation with better resolution and precision.

LCO+X Planning and Optimization

The LCoE of renewable energy has been decreased continuously with the innovation in the industry. But the
booming of wind and solar electricity brings fluctuation to the demand side. The industry users have to
trade off among the green proportion, reliability and LCoE when considering the electricity supply.
Greenwich provides optimal all-in-one solutions compatible with multiple targets and achieving better LCOX
(X can be electricity, hydrogen, ammonia and other commodity). Our solution spans clean energy
generation, energy storage systems and electricity demand. Establishing portfolio design and operation
strategy for wind farm, solar farm & battery energy storage systems to improve product.
