Warm up
• Ask learners what they have enjoyed most in the unit.
• What new information have they learned? Which is their favourite new word?
Choose a project
• Learners choose an end-of-unit project to work on. Help them choose. Provide materials.
Activity
1 My favourite famous person
• Tell learners to read the questions and use them to organise their project.
• Tell them to use the Internet or reference books to f ind the information they need.
• Encourage them to introduce any interesting additional information they may find.
2 The day I was born
• Tell learners to read the questions and answer them following the order in which they appear. This will help them organise
their project.
• They ask parents or tutors for information or they can look it up on the Internet.
Success Criteria
Listening: Listen to class presentations. Speaking: Present your project to the class.
Reading: Read questions, instructions. Writing: Write a profile or a report.
