PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS

Students are required to make a project on any one of the topics given in Holidays Homework.
Students must follow the below mentioned instructions for preparing the project file.

 Project will be made on A4 size white sheets, one side lined and one side plain. Designer
sheets can be used, but only light coloured sheets. Sheets should be punched in a file and
the file should be covered and decorated. No over decoration is permissible.

PROJECT FILE MUST INCLUDE:-

 Cover page with topic, school name, name of the student, class & section, Roll No. (leave
space for roll number, in case of class XII, board roll number will be written and
in case of XI class roll number will be mentioned later on)
 Index
 Acknowledgement
 Certificate of completion under the guidance of teacher
 Action Plan ( 3-4 lines about the project topic, Methodology used & preparations made
for the project)
 Interview (questions asked with their answers in the form of dialogue between
Interviewer and Interviewee) Maximum 10 questions and minimum 8 questions to be
included in interview.
 Report of 200 – 300 words ( report must include the purpose of taking the project and
choosing the desired topic, an essay on topic which includes discussion on topic, its
merits or demerits, causes & effects, solution to the problem, how this project is helpful
in finding solution to the problem & conclusion( conclusion will include the learning what
students learnt from this project)
 Photographs ( photographs of interview or any other relevant photograph showing
students involved in the preparations of project, this section is an evidence of students’
research work)
 List of resources/Bibliography (mention different sources like, magazines or newspaper
names, websites names etc. where information for project has been collected from.

NOTE:- ENTIRE PROJECT MUST BE HANDWRITTEN, NO PRINTOUTS ARE


PERMISSIBLE, EXCEPT PHOTOGRAPHS AND PICTURES. STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW
ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS STRICTLY. ANY DISCREPENCY WILL LEAD TO REDUCTION
OF MARKS. THIS PROJECT IS PART OF INTERNAL ASSESSMENT AND CARRIES 10
MARKS, 5 MARKS FOR FILE AND 5 MARKS FOR VIVA. PROJECT NEED NOT BE
SUBMITTED IMMEDIATELY AFTER VACATIONS. STUDENTS ARE REQUESTED TO
UTILISE THIS TIME TO WORK ON THEIR PROJECT TO ASSURE TIMELY
SUBMISSION WHEN ASKED. SAMPLES OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND COMPLETION
CERTIFICATE HAVE BEEN GIVEN ON PAGE NO. 2 & 3. PLEASE REFER TO THEM
