The course begins with the introduction of the great opportunities that are available in the
online environment, emphasizing that a company’s presence in the digital environment is
mandatory. It offers the learners a basic roadmap on how to begin creating a viable online
presence and how to get around website or social media account creation and optimization.

The “Make Search Work for You” lesson in the “Fundamentals of Digital Marketing” course
describes how the SEO and SEM can be utilized to enhance the presence. It contains a set
of actions on how to make the content on your website more suitable for the search engine
indexing and more attractive to the visitors. The module also includes the aspects of
keyword research, creating appealing headlines and texts for the ads, and evaluating the
results for the further enhancement of the strategy. The “Online Opportunity” module is
devoted to the enormous prospect of the Internet for firms. It also shows how Internet can be
employed in marketing to attract customer attention and create a business. It is important for
