Call for Book Chapters
Mathematics education is changing as an outcome of the quick adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in
educational institutions, which is leading to a rethinking of curriculum design, pedagogical approaches,
and the role of teachers. The goal of this edited volume, Reimagining Mathematics Education in the Age
of Artificial Intelligence and its implication for teaching and learning, is to bring together research-based
insights and interdisciplinary perspectives on how technological advancements, cultural narratives, and
ethical considerations are changing mathematics education. The book encourages chapters that critically
examine how mathematical reasoning, assessment, and classroom relationships are affected by AI-driven
technologies like ChatGPT, intelligent tutoring systems, and online proctoring platforms. The role of
instructors in AI-mediated environments, pedagogical innovation, and the fusion of conventional and
technology-integrated teaching paradigms will all receive particular attention. Contributions on
mythological or culturally based techniques, ethnomathematics, and animated storytelling that promote
moral and values-based learning through digital and visual media are also invited in this book. Additionally,
at a time of algorithmic decision-making and digital literacy, this edited book promotes discussion on
equality, inclusivity, and the philosophical underpinnings of mathematics education. The book attempts to
provide a thorough and important resource for educators, researchers, policymakers, and curriculum
creators dedicated to influencing the direction of mathematics education in the digital era through a blend
of theoretical investigation, case studies, and creative practice.
